The hotel is a nicely renovated pub, with extra accommodation in a 2nd building at the rear of the property (where our family room was located).

The room was large, with a king bed and three singles, separated across two rooms. Great for families.

The restaurant served nice food and was clearly popular with locals.

Staff were all very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Plenty of free parking on site.

Stay for 2 nights and had dinner 1 night and popped in for drinks on both days.
Room was rustic and charming. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was modern and felt luxurious, overhead shower and hand piece.
Meals were very tasty and the drinks were cheap by anyone's standards. A near by club was charging nearly an extra $2 per beer.
But the most outstanding part was the service, in particular the owner or manager was the best host I have had at any motel or hotel in my recent memory. Only to be complemented by his staff that were all just as helpful and polite. He left recent stays at 5 star hotels in their wake.
Stay here with confidence that you will be looked after, eat good food, enjoy cheap drinks and stay in quality accommodation.

Thank you for a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful to a tee. The check in with Mia was seamless and happy.
Maddy behind the bar made us two excellent margaritas.
Our dinners were well presented, abundant and delicious. Definitely recommend for a budget stay with more!
The shelf in the bathroom of the lodges at 121 needs repairing, if there is a maintenance man.
The housemaid, whose name I didn’t get was friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the little annex across from main hotel and car park. Renovated and exceptional value for money.|Room was spacious, well appointed, great bathroom. Beds super comfortable!||Dined in the Bistro, awesome food, steak was lovely and poke bowl delicious - generous portions!|Cocktails were tasty and good value for money.||The hotel manager was very attentive, gave us advice of things happening in the area and gave recommendations of places to go.||We went to Jerry’s cocktail bar, hidden gem across the car park and then great coffee in the same complex the next morning.||Couldn’t fault and will be back, thanks!

We had a 2 room suite. It was clean, bright and had everything for an overnight stay.
Comfortable bed & pillows. We ate an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant. The staff were friendly & professional. We can highly recommend and would stay again.

Just stayed one night but the rooms were very clean with great amenities.
The food at the restaurant was amazing!!! So delicious and great service. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for a week from Brisbane attending a family funeral and the staff were amazing. They gave my daughter and I a great room and left us a beautiful condolences card with a box of chocolates on our arrival. Thank you so much Grand Hotel what a thoughtful gesture, we will definitely be back!

What can I say? We are locals to the grand hotel and winning a night stay for mothers day I was hesitant to say the least to have a night there...boy was I wrong!
The service from Mia and her team was nothing but AMAZING ? she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. From wine, drinks, choccies and a dinner voucher, plus organising brekky with the alpacas.
The hallways are so nice, bigger than we imagined, the whole upstairs is clean and well presented. Our room 219 had everything you need for a night away, the beds were SO comfy and we had the best night sleep!
