My husband and I had our wedding at Goolawah and it was amazing!!! We had 30 of our guests stay on the property with us over the weekend and everyone loved it, the rooms are amazing! Summer was great to communicate with and really let us do what we wanted for our wedding while always been there for guidance. The vendor list found on the website is great we used vendors only from this list as we aren’t local and it was the best decision they all knew the property and were so easy to work with! The whole property is so stunning the perfect backdrop for and Aussie wedding, we had all of our guests compliment us on our venue and vendor choices. Really the best day and best memories!

I have been visiting Goolawah Bush & Beach Retreat for a few years now. First for Yoga & Surf retreats and then with my family for Christmas holidays. I am so in love with the land, the cabins, the retreat space and the owners Summer & Knox, so it made sense that we would have our wedding weekend at Goolawah. It was nothing short of magnificent. The entire planning and lead up was super easy and smooth. All the vendors we chose came from recommendations from the Goolawah team and they were all super lovely and professional. And the three days on the property was magic! We are so very grateful to Summer and Knox for their generosity and now friendship.

The venue of all venues. I cannot believe how beautiful and relaxing this place is. We recently had our wedding here at Goolawah in crescent head & I can hands down say it is the best wedding venue I’ve ever been to. Summer was amazingly easy going, friendly & kind through out the whole process. The venue is picture perfect. The venue comes with 5 cabins that sleep 6 people (perfect for family to stay in) & they are nestled amongst the lush, beautiful trees on the property. The reception pavilion is absolutely stunning! We had guests coming up to us all day and night telling us how much they loved it. The ceremony on site was picture perfect! We didn’t even need to leave the property for beach photos, cause the property is so unreal. They provided a skip bin, cool room, 3 toilets and even some furniture. There was a little kitchenette/studio room off the pavilion for us to do whatever we needed in. Our stay was absolutely beautiful and our wedding was unforgettable. Thank you Summer, we cant recommend Goolawah highly enough!! Love, the Hanrahan’s ?

Not enough words could describe how AMAZING Goolawah bush and beach retreat is we would love to go back and do it all again everyday a memory we will hold in our hearts forever. We hosted our wedding at Goolawah Bush & Beach Retreat, February 2022, it was beyond our expectations! It was beautiful.
We had the whole venue which included 6 cabins that catered for our close family, it was great having everyone in the same location and the kids running around with all the wildlife as we sat on the deck.
Hosting our wedding there was the greatest decision. It meant we had all our family and friends, in the one location the whole time and away from the main parts of town, it really made it special, that it was just us, our friends and our family that could enjoy our wedding. The decked area and below dancefloor opening up to a potential fire area and large grassed area, was great to provide that space after the formalities for our guest to either have a great time dancing, chill at the fire, or just sit in the quiet and chat.
We could not be any more happier with the Service that was provided from the start to finish, all my small or big questions were answered instantly.
We are so proud to say we exchanged our vows and had our wedding at Goolawah Bush & Beach.

We hosted our wedding at Goolawah, May 2022 it was the perfect venue, the cabins were great to have family stay on site, therer's so many options for ceremony sites, no matter what the weather and the deck made the perfect reception area and dance floor.
Summer was incredibly helpful with vendor suggestions and all the vendors found it any easy site to work with. A beautiful venue and incredibly stress free we feel so lucky to have had our Wedding here!
