Agree with other review.
Old furniture old smelly carpet.
Have a small kitchenette but no sink in it. You need go bathroom to fill kettle. If have a kitchen have the decenty of a sink.
Not the cleanest place at all.
You need step into shower over bath.
Dangerous indeed.
If elderly or with hip problems would be difficult to get into for a shower.
No grab rails to hold onto when going for a shower. And a good slip mat to stand on. Bottom of bath is black. Yuk.
Whole place needs updating.
No restaurant operational. So be aware as advertised it has one.
Set back from busy road but still hear the traffic noise. Double glazing would help. Way over priced .wont be back

The room was disgusting, showers were filthy, stains on carpets, walls and even on ceiling. Room stunk. Holes in walls were filled with tissue paper. WIFI was terrible, kept cutting out. Furniture outdated. The pool was filthy. The list goes on. Wouldn't recommend the Golf place inn to anyone, would in fact tell people to steer clear. For a motel like what it is I'd be expecting to pay around 70, maximum 80 dollars per night.

We stayed here overnight during our travel. The staff were nice but the rooms were disgusting.
The shower hasn’t been cleaned has hair and mould build up. The cleanliness of rooms was also disgusting, floors were dirty bed sheets had stains couch has food crumbs everywhere.
The other problem we also had was the other guests staying here was very distributive and loud constantly running outside and inside slamming doors and screaming till 2am. We didn’t feels safe or relaxed here at all.
It wasn’t a very enjoyable stay, will not be coming back and definitely not recommending to others.

Whether it was answering questions, offering a friendly chat, or providing extra assistance with special requests, Maria made sure I felt cared for at every step of my stay.

I noticed her interacting with other guests throughout my time at the hotel, and it was clear that Maria treats everyone with the same level of attention, kindness, and respect. Maria is undoubtedly an asset to Golf Place Inn. She has a natural ability to connect with people and elevate the guest experience to a level that is truly remarkable. It’s no exaggeration to say that her presence made my visit all the more memorable, and I would return in a heartbeat knowing that Maria’s friendly, professional service is always guaranteed. If you're looking for a place to stay on the Shellharbour Coast, I can't recommend Golf Place Inn enough, and I hope you get the pleasure of being greeted by Maria herself!👌🏾

Golf place inn was disappointing, and understandably so given the various issues i encountered. The state of the facilities, like the green pool and the broken one, along with the maintenance problems in our room, having to be moved 3 times due to rooms not being suitable / clean/ ripped up mattresses fell short of expectations based on what was advertised. Additionally, having to deal with unclean rooms, loud neighbours, and feeling unsafe due to the connecting door, would understandably made less than ideal.
It seems like the staff didn't handle the situation well, particularly with the lack of communication regarding the pool availability, the bathroom issues, and the unclean room situation. It's also frustrating that when i asked for a refund, I was unable to get a response from the manager after several attempts. We didn’t stay there and left. Management don’t reply to this review unless you are going to offer me my refund. Room was booked under my name Tamara

I stayed with my two children overnight. Great location close drive to jamberoo water park, wollongong and Port kembla. Rooms were good size , clean and good natural light facing golf course. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect for children. Would recommend, great value for money.

The first room had mould over most of the ceiling..next room was Dirty, mouldy damp rooms. Worn out, tired, damaged furniture. Finger marks over the walls & at light switches. Dusty. Old used sponge to use in the kitchen area. Mouldy dust covered air con vents. No freezer. Disgusting toilet brush. No voile only curtains. Pool looks dodgy & out door table etc covered in dirt n dust. Bathroom vents dirty & dusty. Daggy industrial stained carpet . Dead spiders etc. Phone connection dreadful as is internet. I won't stay there again. Disappointed
