Not how it looks online. Not very secure and severely overlooked. Paid $465 per night (you read that right) for what I thought would be accomodation reflecting the price. Pictures show website vs. reality. Apartment I got is severely overlooked, right in front of busy path, no privacy. Dated kitchen. The ONLY thing this place has going for it is location. I was expecting more for the price. I don’t want 100s people looking in my windows as they wander past. Because it has access from the ground level, I was not comfortable sleeping with any windows open to get benefit of ocean breeze. Furniture was fine - thankfully no funky carpet like I have seen on other reviews. I would not stay here again for the price.

Great place to stay right on the beach. The apartment is lovely and bright and clean. The reception staff are lovely!
There’s no beach or pool towels provided (you can hire them for $5) It’s pretty noisy with construction at the moment but that’s probably a lot of places on the GC. Overall we are loving it here.

From the minute we walked into the lobby, the lovely receptionist greeted us warmly.
Our room had everything we needed and the beautiful ocean view was amazing!!

If you live in here, then your backyard is the Main Beach.
It’s a quiet beach, not crowded,not much people around, not like Surfers Paradise.
And we booked 2 bedrooms with Ocean View, FANTISTIC🗣️

First the good.|Simply the best view / location on the Gold Coast. If you want to literally roll out of bed and onto the sand and into the surf then this is to he place to be. Its close to all types of eateries and Tedder Ave is just a short walk away and its just far enough out of Surfers to be away from the hustle and bustle. The staff seemed ok although we didn't have a lot to do with them and the pool / gym / bbq and gardens all looked clean and well kept.||The bathroom and toilet are pretty modern and clen but water pressure in the shower was not great - I think there was a water saving device fitted so maybe that's why and fair enough.||Not So Good|Our unit (1201) was pretty old and tired and could do with some love and a good revamp.||The thing that got me though was after arriving after all day in the car the until was hot and stuffy so I turned the A/c on only to find it caked in a black mould like substance. There was also this same substance on most of the window blinds and the curtain rails in bed 2,||I can totally understand the battering this complex takes from 24/7 surf / salt air / wind and sun so I can overlook and bit of water marks and rust issues but mould is a no no.||I can also understand the huge demand for the unit and that it may not be possible for housekeeping to do a deep clean for each new guest but this A/c looked like it had not had a clean for months and that's not good. Maybe the first of every month an extra hour or so is taken to do the deep clean to ensure the whole unit is in tip top condition but it really needs to be looked at or reviews like this will grow.||In the end we just chose not to use the A/c and just used the breeze from open doors and windows to provide relief from the summer heat - I'm only glad that the weather was not too hot. ||The phots I've attached don't really show the mould issues in the A/c with the main issues being behind the grills although it does give an idea..||Would I sat here again - maybe but I would want to go up to the unit and have a look before formally checking in

One of the best apartments we have ever stayed in & we've stayed in a lot in Australia and overseas. Apt 502 has an uninterrupted view of the beach and ocean, is modern, very well laid out, terrific entertaining kitchen, lovely balcony, nice bathrooms & extremely quiet.
There's nothing they have not thought to provide. We had 9 people over for dinner and there were plenty of plates, cutlery, glassware, so well thought out. Could not fault it and will stay again in a heartbeat. Our guests said the same thing. One thing you should know though is the second bedroom has 2 king singles and when I asked if they could be put together they said they could not because they did not have the mattress cover to do that. Strange because our king size bed in the main bedroom looks like 2 king singles put together. Just something you should know if that is important to you.
