We have stayed at this resort several times and absolutely love it. We spent six weeks here in August/September. Mandy and Carl are excellent hosts, the apartment was light, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble and, for us, is a home from home. We highly recommend this resort.

We stayed with a sports team for 5 nights and the owners could not have been more helpful and easy to work with. The booking process was easy with excellent communication from the owners, check-in was simple and the rooms were extremely clean with everything our families needed for a great stay. Having laundry facilities and a full kitchen in the unit was fantastic. The pool, facilities, cafe, park and beach access make this an easy and relaxed destination for families.

Lovely little Apartment House with an awesome staff!
Our room was very Clean and looked better than on the Pictures. The Pool is small but lovely and there is a little Café next to it, that serves good food and Coffee.
However the Location ist a little Off the grid, but If you're looking for a calm and quiet stay, then this is exactly what you are looking for!

It is a correct place, in a very quiet neighborhood. The published photos nearly correspond to the place. The good: there is no noise, it is spacious, it has a very well-equipped kitchen, the bed is good, the bathroom is spacious. |What we didn't like: we were 3 adults, the person who slept on the sofa bed had very average nights. It was very uncomfortable; the person would slide because it was not horizontal and did not have enough support.|The room was never cleaned, even having a carpet, not a wood floor as showed int the photos. They left us a vacuum, but we expected a minimum of cleaning for a week. It was our responsibility, even, to take out the trash.|We had a washing machine, but it was dirty, the clothes came out stained. There is a terrace, full of dust, leaves and dirt.|There are no functional elevators. Although we were on the lower floor, I can't imagine the discomfort for those who have rooms on higher floors, carrying luggage up the stairs. |The pool does not look clean. It's pretty, but it looks like settled water, which doesn't inspire confidence about cleanliness. It is in the middle of plants, which drop leaves and look yellow. |The beach is not as close as it seems in the description or as suggested by the hotel name. |The bathroom does not have comfortable spaces for use by 3 people. The amenities are the most basic and of very standard quality. We did not expect this quality of accommodation, considering the location and the price paid. There is no safe box and reception availability is limited.

Awesome resort, the management are very friendly and helpful, Room 29 was fabulous views amazing Restaurant downstairs wonderful, pool very lovely, beach just a step away for long walks.

We've had a lovely stay! Great location, super close to the beach. The apartment was clean and I'd say it looked better than in the photos. Just be aware there is no oven in the apartment. The swimming pool was nice and clean, and the tennis court was just a bonus that I didn't expect. The staff was really nice and gave us some recommendations for places for dinner. Overall we had a great time and I would definitely recommend Golden Sands for your tropical holiday.

We had four nights in a one bedroom apartment with our 11 month old baby. The apartment was super clean, looked out into the tropical canopy, and had everything we needed (kitchen, laundry etc). The pool was EXCELLENT, with a large shallow area perfect for toddlers. The bed had a memory foam mattress which wasn’t the best for us (but beds are so subjective it’s hard to please everyone!). Also the bedroom is open to the rest of the unit so we had to be quiet during baby nap time, but the balcony was perfect as an escape space. Much nicer residential area than busy Trinity Beach and Palm Cove. Great location and friendly managers, will definitely stay again!

Golden Sands was a fantastic, quiet resort - close to the airport and very easy access to the local beach and shops. The hosts, Mandy and Carl made us feel very welcome and comfortable thoughout. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. On-site restuarant had a most relaxing atmosphere. The pool was warm and always clean. Already re-booked for next year!
