Just a perfect place, I stayed 2 nights. Host is young gorgeous and helpful. Plenty of food in basket, bread in freezer, everything is marked to your room. Room is big and beautiful. Shower, bath and loo. Place is quite and has incredible sunsets, temperature 23 degrees is perfect for sleep, aircon and fan too if you need it. Best place ever

Deb is a fantastic host! We were fighting flood waters and taking detours and Deb was wonderful with communication and our very very late arrival.

Room was gorgeous, beautiful claw foot tub, comfy beds, cold aircon.

Absolute gold star! Fantastic value for money. Will be staying here on future road trips for sure!!!

Do yourself a favour and stay at Debs place!!! Even if you aren't crossing by 🙂 :).
What a beautiful little gem and an owner to boot! Will always lament that we stayed just one nite 🙁
Wish we weren't on a 'conquer' Australia road trip and could have done more time!

Beautiful, welcoming, soothing. Comfy bed, big claw foot bath, plenty of hot water. Perfect after a long day's driving. Very well laid out, air conditioned, quiet. Just gorgeous. Pool clear, clean and inviting but too cool for a swim for me!

The Golden Lace in Sarina has to be the best accommodation that we have ever stayed at - yes better than any 5 star sterile large complex. We have been going there for a number of years now and still it is our favourite place. Everything about it is perfect - big bedrooms & bathrooms, convenient kitchen and dining room, pool, outdoor sitting area, comfortable bed and pillows, everything works as it should and the breakfast is amazing. It is located close to town and some good eating places but it is in a quiet area. The host is lovely and friendly. If we could give it a higher rating than a 5, we would.

We have stayed at Golden Lace twice in three weeks and highly recommend it as an extremely comfortable place to stay. Deb is very accommodating and goes out of her way to assist her guests. She adds lovely homely touches like freshly baked biscuits and pleasantly scented bath bombs for a leisurely soak in the claw foot bath.
