We’ve stayed here many times and often for a week at a time. Have been happy so far which is why we return there. However this time (for a week), housekeeping was really bad. I did report this to reception but did not get much interest. No clean sheets during that week, floors never vacuumed. Only sign of housekeeping was a few clean towels and bins emptied. Did not replace our tea towel. Bathroom floor not cleaned. Beds never well made, just pulled up. Don’t think we’ll be staying here again. A shame as it had been good up until now.

Our stay at Golden Age Motor Inn earlier this week was an enjoyable and friendly experience. The staff went out of their way to make us welcome. Out of hours check-in was availablethough I didn't need in the end. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Was even asked to take a fresh muffin for the road on check-out. No traffic noise in my room though the Highway just there. Close to shops snd service centre. Very convenient.Definitely would stay again.

The Golden Age Motor Inn is our go to place when visiting the Canberra area on our way to or on the way back to/from Bendigo. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, the location is fantastic. The free coffee and muffins are always appreciated. Please give them a call or use their website to get a great price. Don't bother with other Motel search engines, as they will look after you if you go direct. We will be back, as we have been for many years now.

We had a King suite that had a pair of bunks as well as being pet friendly. Our dog was very comfortable and of course we were too! The room also had crockery, cutlery and the usual kitchen utensils. Very pleasant reception as well.

great motel to stay at. rooms are clean, spacious and all cons provided. only stayed the night but would have loved to check out all the other conveniences of this motel had to offer, easy late check in, rates are very affordable and close to all amenities, all up a 5 star stay !! thank you

beds were comfy, have tv, aircon, soap, shampoo & conditioner, fridge & adequate storage if you need. The bathroom doesn’t drain very well from the shower so the two towels weren’t adequate but honestly not major issue. Free muffins & coffee for the morning and the guy at reception was super nice.
Good location for Canberra if you’ve got a car - free parking but otherwise about an hour by bus. 15 min walk to shops etc.
