Room 7 was refurbished with views to Mount Panorama. Double glazing made it very quiet at night. Huge bathroom with a good shower head. Parking at the door. Good wifi. Sadly the mattress was a bit lumpy and the pillows were quite thin. The very long sweeping driveway was dreadful to drive on due to the enormous and many pot holes. Hopefully that will be addressed soon or a serious accident could occur. Otherwise it was a good location to rest for one night as we continued our journey.

The room, especially the bathroom was a good size. Everything in the room was clean & comfortable. We had beautiful views of the sunset which you could watch from the balcony. Staff were always friendly & very helpful with any questions & updates

We booked a standard room for the night. We were offered an upgrade to a bigger room. It was a fantastic decision. The room was large with a very comfy recliner. The room was clean and the bed super comfy. The walk in shower was very good. Breakfast was included with an extensive range of cereals, a variety of bread for toast and spreads.

We’ve stayed at this motel every year for a car event that we go to. We found that the motel is always very clean. The staff are friendly, It’s in a very good location and it’s well off the road so it is quiet. We also always enjoy the continental breakfast that is included with your stay. We do not see that too often these days in motels. Looking forward to staying there next year.

I have not given any stars , room was incorrectly advertised through online booking service , owner was unable to give us a room with 2 double beds and advised to either pay for an upgrade or apply for a refund .we paid for accommodation elsewhere for the night .We did apply for a refund and were then advised that the owner is refusing to process the refund as we cancelled at late notice . Staff onsite were friendly and helpful however their hands were tied as the owner was refusing to help and blaming the booking system. Extremely rude and unhelpful and unable to comply with basic principles of customer service . I would never recommend dealing with this location in any capacity

DO NOT STAY HERE. My room was dirty. Most of the lights did not work.
I didn’t get much sleep because of the government funded drug dealing aboriginals living in the next room. Noise all night long. I slept in because of the lack of sleep and missed breakfast. Office was closed when I wanted to check out so left the keys in the drop box. I think the owners deliberately close the office at check out time so as to not deal with irate guests.

Desk left unattended. Took 3 calls to get service. Guy couldn't find the key, probably cause they never really hire this room out unless it's busy.

Room was literally a converted garage. Room 33. Some rooms in place have been renovated. This room has been forgotten. For the price it was not acceptable. 2 bean bags as a lounge. Rubbish under beds and tracksuit pants under said bean bags. Great cleaning service, not.

Hot water system has water hammering as pipes bang against the wall when other rooms use the hot water.

Kitchen fittings were dirty and rusty. Toilet facility was old and outdated. They just slapped a few new dispensers on the wall and call it done. Had thoughts of leaving but we were only staying the night. Will never go back here or reccomend anyone else to go there. Looks to me like the owners give themselves fake reviews on popular site to get the ratings up but read the real ones with comments and you soon see how terrible this joint is.

As the old adage goes, “you get what you pay for”.

We had Room 29 - it has two small rooms and beds for 5, which worked for our overnight family stopover.

It was a quiet location up the hill and away from the main street so traffic noises were minimal. The bed was comfortable. That was about where the compliments stop.

It is a very dated motel. The parking is woeful. We had our neighbours parked across the front of our doorway and made our access/egress to our room nearly impossible.

Problems: the shower head leaks constantly and the shower cubicle is mouldy and the kids refused to use it (let’s not mince words - I didn’t use it either). The tiles need a thorough scrub from what appeared to be body grease on the bottom row of tiles and the grout is mouldy and disgusting.

The power point cover in the bathroom is dated and split. Light switches are randomly placed and hard to find.

There’s a trundle bed under one of singles. It is filthy and looks like it’s been acquired from a nature strip council rubbish collection. Absolutely filthy.

We suffered an ant infestation in our nearly new jar of jam, so we had to throw it out. The kitchen is dated and is also dirty.

The bar fridge is very old and has split seals.

There’s not enough crockery/cutlery in the kitchen for the number of beds.

The door lock is difficult to open and use, and having two entry doors that automatically unlock when the handle turns makes it hard to know if you’ve locked yourself in or not.

In summary, I wouldn’t stay here again. You simply cannot put a price on cleanliness. I wouldn’t call this a 3* motel: the facilities are so old and dated, at best it’s 1.5-2* and that’s being generous.
