Location is great with lots to do and see in close proximity, we stayed in tree house 3, which had a good view and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the pool area was not inviting at all, definitely in need of a clean so we didn't use it. The bbq in tree house 3 was also not very clean for us when we arrived and the rear runner was not working. Finally once booked you are required to leave a $500 bond to gain access to you keys through a third party website.

Please don’t waste your time and money.
This place is so dirty , pool surrounded by animal poo .. Bed rooms and linens are dusty and dirty and all photos shown are misleading and the property isn’t no where near as good as shown:.
So hot and no aircon or breeze..Container house ..
Fans are broken and too slow ..
You will be boiled at night ::
Pool is a muddy mess and good luck walking around and messy surroundings..

You won’t get your bond back for sure ..: That means property owner wouldn’t reply for your concerns until last minute, no answer for a phone call but after you checkout they will create some reason to charge your bond.:
Reason for charging will be like , exhausting their power 😅 Overusing their Pool and facilities ( lol )
There is no one single reason to stay in this place..
Looks like everything gone wrong at this place and poor management try to steel ::

Will charge money from your account without any authority..
Please don’t go there at all…

The check in process is extremely tedious and annoying. Clearly this place has been sued several times because you have to sign a 46 page terms and service. There is literally no one that works there so avoid paying the 100$ an hour “spa center” unless you want to treat yourself to the peacock mud bath. Also the t and c of the place say you have to report any damage within 2 hours of agreed check in time which is 3pm but they don’t answer calls after 4 pm. We stayed in tree house 1 which is the best they have to offer. As you can see by the picture I posted they rely on guests to clean the dishes and utensils and based on their service I doubt they do a thorough check or ever do it themselves. The condiments the so call provide salt pepper and honey have most likely been there for years being that both of our honeys were expired one by over 2 years pretty sure honey has one of the longest shelf lives. The lightbulbs were missing out of the chandeliers, for the amount of money you pay including a 80dollar cleaning fee guest should know that all dishes and utensils are cleaned by staff members whether or not they look like they have been cleaned by guests.
The balcony had mildew on it and you can tell has not been cleaned for months.

It seems to me that one person is running the entire operation as it is a cell phone number to call for help and if she is too busy because she has a one year old that’s now your problem.

Keep in mind before booking this place if you still for some reason want to come here on top of the lack of cancellation policy you will be required to pay an additional 500$ deposit before getting the code for the key to the house. My best advice to you is find somewhere else to book your stay if you want to go see the Purlingbrook falls as that was the only reason we booked here. It truly was amazing. I promise you finding another place nearby will be the best decision you will ever make.

Notice how they do not address any of the issues I brought up just that I had an issue with my American Express authorizing the 500 security deposit. When I called the owner implied I didn’t have enough funds to cover it which is simply not the case. I am also not blaming them for that but I am blaming them for the lack of customer service. I am also not threatening litigation as it is not worth the time. Again none of the information I relayed is inaccurate or they clearly would have tried to refute that information.

Beautiful location in lovely forests with walking trail, but the pre arrival check in procedure is adious and ruined the experience before we even got there. Ive travelled alot and book accommodation often. This must be the single most worst pre-arrival checkin procedure in the world. More than an international flight! Expect tons of reminders to login into the booking platform with driver license andcredit card details to charge $500 deposit holding fee.
The treehouses look fine, but dont book the Container with plumbed Outhouse, the parking is precarious and dangerous and NO shower or loo near the cottage. The container itself is fine with all the facilities

Edit: Originally only left rating (no written review) but owner has mistaken me for another dissatisfied guest lol - I booked for Tree House 1.
The owner's replies to every review and criticism is comically irresponsible. Shows flagrantly deficient service.
I would recommend this place for anyone who enjoys extreme hostility from the host

It's a stunning getaway a few minutes away from Gold Coast. Eco-friendly and family-friendly, it is in the heart of nature with a view of Gold Coast in the distance.

We stayed in the converted shipping container and had such a blast. From feeding peacocks and lamas to drinking wine by the pool (amazing view) .

Cannot recommend this highly enough. The home was very well equipped, clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and I wish we'd had longer to explore more. The highlight was definitely the resident peacocks coming up for a handfeed in the mornings. Will absolutely stay here again.
