The 3/5 rating is solely due to the lack of heating during our July visit. Had the heating been adequate, this property would definitely rate a 5/5. ||The outlook onto the garden from all windows is very special and the gardens are simply but graciously landscaped. Unfortunately, it is the windows which seem to cause the issues with heat being lost through them, as they are single glazed and un- curtained. The blinds currently fitted are simple venetians and not all of them actually function to close.The West wing rooms also appear to not capture any sunlight so no chance of warming up during the daytime. On the plus side, the living spaces are tastefully and simply furnished with very comfortable sofas and dining table and chairs. The kitchen is very well equipped and a pleasure to use. The bathroom is very spacious and safe, but also very cold. We really enjoyed our stay but would have loved to have felt more comfortable rather than huddled over the oil filled heater with a blanket over our knees. We had, fortunately, brought extra layers of clothing but it was a relief to retire to bed at 7pm on the second night rather than wishfully battling with the fire as we had done the night before. The bed was very comfortable, warm and had serene views to the garden. We would love to visit this property again, but in the autumn, summer or spring. The accommodation centre requested a review from us, which I did respond to, however no response at all from them, hence, a very rare slightly, negative review from me here.

Whilst the house is in a lovely location, it is in desperate need of a good once over. Cobwebs, dust, second TV with no capability and it really is only a 2 bedroom house. There are 4 sleeping areas, however the 3rd and 4th sleeping areas are a loft style with little dividing wall leaving no real privacy.

House otherwise was well equipped, comfy beds and lovely fireplace.

The extended family had a wonderful visit to Godshill. Accommodation was clean and welcoming. The added bonus of the great room just added to the overall experience. Highly recommend as a special get away treat.

Godshill is a luxurious accommodation which felt homely with quirky trinkets and art. It was warm and cosy with a fireplace and an oil heater also including heaters in the bathroom with a luxury spa. We went in the coldest month and the room warmed up in no time after cranking up the fire. We found the tranquil surroundings to be relaxing and very private. I would highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back again. Thankyou to the owner who answered questions and was polite and friendly.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Godshill Westwing this week. The accommodation is spacious and beautifully decorated with large windows looking out to the lawns where wallabies grazed. However the heating was inadequate for the space (an open fire and a small oil heater) which meant we were very cold for most of our stay. ||It is unfortunate that the owners didn't think to install a heating unit when refurbishing the apartment as it is the only thing that lets it down.

I recently stayed at Godshill with some girlfriends for a long weekend getaway. It is extremely private with all the creature comforts. Attention to detail can be seen from the luxurious bedding through to the warm and cosy sitting area at the fireplace or the outside fire pit. It is recently renovated so feels fresh yet retains that homely feel. Highly recommend and will be a return visitor.

We stayed in the studio and it was so beautiful! Loved it and so perfect for a couple. Best little cosy getaway. Unlike other locations in Bunya, this one has everything you need bar towels.
