I usually go to Gloria Jeans every once in a blue moon because I love the Salted Caramel Chillers. And when I have them it's usually normal. However this time, I noted how they looked a little different than usual and an hour or so after drinking one (not even the entire thing of medium chiller) I started shaking uncontrollably, my knees were shaking, and I had to run to the bathroom and resist vomiting. There is way too much caffeine in there I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. If I was elderly or a child, I think I would have had one. Please put less caffeine or ask customers how much caffeine we want. ? for everyone's safety. I'd also like to mention how the workers just looked miserable and how hot it is in the store.

It is located inside the mall, near the Woolworths side. Plenty of parking available as it is part of the shopping centre.
Staff are friendly and service is quite fast. Coffee quality is top notch and the variety of flavoured coffee makes it interesting.

Sorry to chime in about the same staff member with dark hair and the nose ring — but this was truly the most abhorrent customer service ever. Really, really poor customer service to the point it is almost funny. Thank you at least to the blonde girl who was also working, you made my drink and although we didn’t interact much you seemed extremely normal compared to your coworker.

Went in today to have breakfast upon entering the shop there was a lot of mess left laying around on the tables that looked like it had been sitting there for a while, once approaching the counter to be served I was not greeted as the staff were to busy/concerned with looking at themselves in the mirror. Once actually being served the service was poor the banana bread I received was stale and disgusting and in edible.
Management need to remind staff of personal hygiene and to be more mindful when working around food and some extra customer service training and cleaning skills wouldn’t go a stray. Won’t be rushing back.

It says it opens at 8 and its already 8:30 the store still close. A lot of us have been waiting for half an hour the staff went out and just looked at us and continued closing the shutters no explanation why they are still close. We can see them just walking and constantly chatting at each other. None of them thought to atleast gave their customers a reason why they are still closed. Staff needs training on how to handle this kind of situation. I do not recommend this shop at all.

###EDIT GJ head office has bounced back to the franchisee I would like to know regards to if that team member is still on staff

*SURPRISE SURPRISE after being bounced back to franchisee I’ve heard nothing*

It’s a shame I can’t give ‘0’ stars as the CUSTOMER SERVICE is -0. I was sitting and being patient however after what seems to be around 20 minutes I realised people are coming and Going. I approached a Staff member with long hair and her belly showing, she appeared to be the so called manager of the store, in saying that She was very rude to her staff and her whole demeanour was off. I have approached her to ask where my coffee was as I’ve seen people coming and going after me. She went to the screen and said someone must’ve taken it, I said no I’ve been sitting here the whole time and not once was my order called out. She proceeded to grab coffee beans. I’m not sure if she made the coffee or someone else did. Eventually called out my order and I said to her that I was annoyed as I know for sure my order wasn’t called out. She then proceeded to say yes my order was still on the screen so in my opinion it hadn’t been made and she had lied to me to make them look better.  She called me lovely and at that stage, I found that very belittling. I left the store, but I could see her mouthing things about me to the other staff members. I will not be spoken to like that from a little uptight rude girl. Funny enough I spoke to my daughter and she said that she’s also had experience with her and seen other people have issues also. It appears from the reviews this is not the first time yet you have continued to have her as a GJ employee. Don’t even get me started on the coffee it was boiling hot which then in turn It was burnt. There was no sugar as ordered. And to be honest, I had now interest in drinking it as something could’ve been putting it behind the coffee machine. Please DONT reply to this review that you appreciate my feedback because clearly you don’t as several people had complained and the issue still remains. I plan to take this matter further to stick up for future customers. As a franchisee for Gloria Jeans, you need to do better

Very disappointed in the Coffee. It resembled dirty dish water. It had no coffee flavour, and no Crema at all on the Coffee. Not at all how Gloria Jeans Coffee used to be. What we paid for certainly didn’t match what we got.

!if i could give 0 stars i would. the lady who works here with black hair and i think a facial piercing im not too sure, she is horrible to customers. I ask if me ordering shortly before them closing will disrupt their closing duties, to be met with her telling me off my “attitude” and calling me “ew” and to “get out”. I was only trying to be mindful and nice since I didn’t want to delay their closing and she met me with the worst attitude. I’ve heard lots about her from friends, not only does she make trashy coffees, but she’s got a trashy ego too. Only thing she is good for is bringing the business down. Horrible coffee, food and service. DO NOT BUY!
