An absolute historical treasure! I loved our experience at Glenmore Homestead and can’t wait to go back. Whether you’re looking for a historical tour of the property or planning a special event, this is a wonderful place to celebrate with family and friends. Try the tea and scones! The staff provide good old fashioned country hospitality in a historical setting. Learn about the family history, walk around the buildings to see old fashioned equipment and vintage artefacts. It may remind some of you of ancestors’ lifestyle from yesteryear. The venue is able to host events. The wooden arbour on the brick paved courtyard makes a rustic backdrop. It would be nice to see the lights at night. It does have male and female clean and comfortable toilets onsite,a ramp but not a toilet for the disabled. To meet George was special.

The homestead is an iconic Rockhampton venue. For over 30 years this amazing piece of history has been serving up a heavy aussie meal of corned beef and veges to those lucky diners. The atmosphere is so cool. Dined here for the first time in years and it is still as good now as it has always been. if you are visiting "Rocky" don't miss out.
