Ah, the joy of following perfect instructions and arriving at accommodation where using the knocker on the front door brings a smiling welcoming person. We were soon shown our lovely ensuite rooms as well as the wonderful lounge (an old schoolroom) where we could sit, read, play the piano or just watch the fire burning. It was a very cold day, but the rooms were very well heated and we were very comfortable. It was also quiet and dark. The next morning we were served a fine breakfast and enjoyed chatting with the lady of the house. Reluctantly we had a last wander through the delightful garden and were on our way.

My wife and I have just spent a couple of days relaxing at this beautiful and tranquil country bed & breakfast.
Jennifer is a warm and friendly host. She greeted us with a home made afternoon tea, which we enjoyed in front of the cosy fireplace, in the old schoolhouse. She was only too happy to provide us with any information we needed about the local area.
Breakfast was a delight, enjoyed in the dining room with its lovely view.
The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious with beautiful decor.
Highly recommend!

Jennifer is the perfect host, warm friendly, full of local and historical knowledge. We booked last minute turning up 25 minutes later, but nothing was a problem. The grounds and gardens are beautiful! We enjoyed cooking a bbq dinner with gorgeous country side views and eating on the outdoor furniture and deck. The room had everything one would need. Breakfast was such a treat- fully cooked and served for us while we chatted with our host. A thoroughly refreshing visit and we’ll be back!

Jennifer is the hostess with the mostest :). Nothing is any trouble, the rooms are beautifully presented, delightful outdoor areas to enjoy a cuppa under the trees and watch nature.|Highly recommend for a getaway to recharge.|She also has an excellent BBQ facility, and we will be utilising this with a glass of red next time

My husband and I along with 2 other couples have just enjoyed 2nights/3 days at beautiful Glenburn House.||Every detail was taken care of, even special dietary requirements.||The rooms are exquisite, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean.||The grounds are beyond amazing with a variety of blossom trees and delightful plants scattered around the plot. An abundance of seating in different pockets of the garden enables the guests to soak up the peaceful surroundings.||A stunning view across the fields takes in the most picturesque valley in the distance.||Jennifer is an exceptional hostess, greeting each one of us by name as we arrived. She certainly added the personal touch.||Breakfasts were included and we certainly didn't go hungry.||We will be back

Beautiful B&B place with a scenery and lovely host Jennifer who cooked us healthy and scrumptious breakfast. Our corgies also loved the lawn as we don’t have it in our house.
Highly recommended to stay for a getaway in the country side. Love to come back again ?

Coming back from Queensland we stayed 2 nights at Glenburn House whilst we visited Mayfield Gardens near by. Our host Jennifer was a delight and our accommodation just perfect. We stayed in a separate unit from the main house close by and could use the beautiful front room of the main house which was the original school house. Comfortable furnishings and an open fire provided an ideal place to relax. An excellent hot breakfast was provided by Jennifer along with helpful local knowledge and directions. We will visit here again!! 🙂

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely B&B close to Mayfield Gardens. Jennifer was a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming but in no way intrusive. Our room was beautifully appointed with a verandah overlooking the lovely, expansive garden and the rolling hills. Breakfast was delicious with homemade muesli, fruit, yoghurt and bacon and eggs. We had a wonderful stay . I would highly recommend Glenburn House and look forward to our next visit.
