Was not as thick and had more gristle and fat than my girlfriends:

250G RUMP

Grain Fed, MB2+ (Wagga Wagga, NSW)

Not very happy with a $50 steak.
It was cooked well, but the Dianne Sauce was the runniest and had hardly any flavour, that I've come across in my time of review and my 900,00+ Google views.

I reckon I know Chef's secret.
If I ask for Medium to Well done and my partner has Medium Rare, and it doesn't matter our choice of Rump, Eye Fillet etc, I think I get the flat thin piece and she gets the thick cut.
Then they get thrown on the grill at the same time, so the meals are cooked/finished at the same time.
Tell me I'm wrong?

I will be back again, but I will try the Wood Fired Pizzas next time.

Surprisingly I’ve never been here before…driven past countless times but dining in was the first for me. Their menu encompassed pizzas, various meat dishes, pasta and of course steaks 🥩!

I’ve been disappointed by many a steakhouse previously so initial expectations here were admittedly uneasy. However, they delivered the goods and delivered it well 👍🏻👍🏻

I love my steaks cooked rare or bleu - some argue why bother blah blah blah but that’s how i love my steaks and 8/10 places i visit, typically cannot cook a steak rare, let alone do it bleu. BUT this place did it perfectly and it tasted great 🤤

You can see for yourselves in the pics, there’s a decent redness to the meat with a nice thinly cooked outside. The steak wasn’t bleeding profusely cos it was probably properly rested too 👌🏻

Their pizzas were great too. Tasted like it was cooked out of a proper pizza oven with little charred edges and generous amounts of toppings 🤗

Even their pork belly side dish was impressive - both in flavour and in person size. We actually had to confirm with one of the wait staff that it was a side and not someone’s main! 😅

All in all, a great first experience here and would rates it highly in terms of value and taste 😇

Service was super fast.
Meals were delicious.
If you have salad its going to be a pub salad and if you order a fancy salad youll get anything other than green leafy stuff. Tasted amazing. Can't fault it.

My experience at the restaurant was really nice. The woodfired pizza I had was excellent! The meal from the rest of our group was also really tasty. One of the great features is that ordering is done from your phone.
Just a heads up to other people, it can be a little pricier than expected.

There's also a really nice outside play area for the kids. All of this made the experience really enjoyable. I would definitely go back again to have woodfired pizza.

I had the Last dinner served there on Xmas Eve. A Roast lamb with mint sauce and and vegies steamed carrots broccoli potatoe bake and gravy fresh fried chips and bread rolls.
It was very nice indeed. To be fair it was the best meal I ever had there. Good work for a kitchen at the end of what I seen was a very busy day. Keep it up for the New Year.You'll win Hotel Restaurant of the Year. Maybe a couple of Gold Stars. Cheers .

The Glen Hotel is a great place to go for a delicious pub lunch or dinner. They have a great menu selection and all the food is top quality. Amazing cocktails as well although quite expensive. I would also highly recommend the Tuesday night trivia they have on, it's always so much fun and the atmosphere is great.
