What a surprise this place is. So peaceful. Keith has done amazing things on this property. We stayed in an old railway carriage. It has everything you need and a lovely deck to sit outside. The communal kitchen and deck area is spacious and comes with games , puzzle and books to use as well and everything you need in a kitchen or prepare a meal. If you’re looking for a peaceful break, this is the place😌

Keith was a friendly, attentive host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend the breakfast featuring many of the tropical fruits growing on the grounds! Wish we’d had more time to explore and in less oppressive heat. We’d already been but would recommend as a base for a night or two if visiting Australia Zoo up the road. A short drive to Glasshouse Mountains Village for provisions or dinner at the Glasshouse Tavern. The communal kitchen in a railway carriage looked great.

Amazing stay! Comfortable bed, spacious room, excellent service, delicious breakfast. Can’t recommend this place highly enough! I went with my 3 children and we loved it. Friendly staff and clean areas. Great spot for Australia zoo day trip and wonderful view of surrounding mountains.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for what we needed. We only stayed one night as we were passing through on a road trip. It’s a perfect location for a longer stay to explore the Glass House Mountain area. |The train carriage kitchen is perfect for preparing your own meals and there are heaps of things to do on the grounds including walks and the orchard area. There are books, games and heaps of comfy places to sit and be peaceful.|It was so nice to read about the history of the eco lodge and Sally showed us around everything personally when we arrived.|A cheeky possum (I hope it was a possum) was a little noisy in the roof during the night but it was otherwise a lovely stay with heaps of character and a serene and peaceful vibe. We visited Australia Zoo and the Glass House mountains lookout and Lookout Cafe while in the area.

Keith is well mannered and the location is nice but this place is definitely not a four star hotel.
I am surprised that this ecolodge is mentioned as a four star even on booking.com. The rooms are perhaps one star at best and the curtains need some serious cleaning.

We drove from the Gold Coast and we were disappointed. The photos are perhaps for few years back as they did not seem realistic to us.

The community kitchen was ok and perhaps realistic

In a quiet, relaxing environment, my 4 month old son and I had a good 2 nights at this renovated old church turned lodge. Keith was very welcoming, despite my son being grizzly upon arrival, and showed me everything I needed. My request for a portacot was accommodated and the room had an old school charm that oozed "relax". |For supplies, the Beerwah shops are only a 10 minute drive away, with a few food take away store options for a quick and easy meal, or a supermarket to get ingredients to cook your own. The lodge boasts an adequately equipped kitchen in a converted old train carriage (which I believe Keith said he went to school in originally), making food preparation easy and accessible.||A couple of things to note for those travelling here| - if you're not used to the area, bring insect repellent, as the mosquito's can be a bit brutal (available for purchase in reception also). If you suffer from hayfever, arrive prepared with antihistamines during Spring - the pollen count in the Sunshine Coast hinterland can get pretty high. |- it is an ecolodge as per the accommodation description - quaint and aged and simple. There is no TV and mobile phone coverage can be a little patchy (there is free wifi available). It is not (and doesn't pretend to be) a 5-star, luxury resort. |- don't bother to pack a book - there is a vast array of books available in the general sitting area for communal reading. |- wildlife is normal in this area, including snakes (generally of the harmless variety I'm informed, but I'm scared nonetheless)|- when driving here, look for the sandwich board out the front of what looks like a normal house driveway - the lodge is hidden out the back.|- give yourself time to explore the lodge itself and its surrounds - only staying here 2 nights as a base to visit family I didn't have time to do this. This is my only regret of my stay. A lot of work has been put into the lodge to restore historical items, maintain a beautiful garden and provide a relaxing environment. Enjoy and savour it.

I really enjoyed my short stay here, there was silence, with sounds of nature, the place itself has a peaceful energy. I liked learning about how the eco-lodge came to be and how it was created by transforming a church and train carriage into accommodation and a shared kitchen. It's a pretty cool place and I appreciate how Keith made his vision a reality 😁

This place is just beautiful and quaint. The shared spaces are so functional and inviting, the kitchen and dining in the old railway cars, the communal lounge and library, the "eaten" garden, love it all. Thanks Keith, you've created something really special and I will recommend to everyone who asks.
