The price is not what they tell you over the phone, they chuck extra hidden fees on top. It’s quite expensive considering it’s basically someone’s back yard. Power kept tripping, never happened anywhere else we’ve stayed. Driveway has big trenches in it causing your vehicle/trailer to bottom out if you’re not aware. No reception. Drinking water has to be collected from a tap. Amenities were clean though.

This is a nice tucked away campsite. Lovely staff with helpful and clear instructions. Entrance is off Mount Beerwah Rd at the NBN sign. It has a nice clean shower and toilet block with a coin operated washing machine. Nice large communal firepit shame it rained the whole time we were there. But the kids loved running around on the grass.

Super cute little campground. The hosts were amazing and helped us out so much (as the water pump of our rental rv was broken). We were only going to stay 1 night (and that night we had the campground all to ourselves!) but our plans changed and we decided to stay with them for another night and it all wasn’t a problem at all. Big shout out to that couple!

Stayed at the campsite for 1 night (21/5/2018). Read many negative reviews and few nice ones. Took a bit of salt on both.
I wasn't worry about the attitude of the owner as I have no problems following his rules, the only concern was if the toilet and shower were clean. Consider the location was right next to the mountains we wanted to hike, and just 1 night we went there and verified the reviews ourselves.

The camping ground was a bit noisy during the daytime, being on Old Gympie Road, but it was quite and peaceful at night.

The owner was super friendly and flexible. He allowed us to leave the tents there and collected them the afternoon next day. Although there could be improvement for toilets and showers, they were acceptable. I would say much better than some public toilets in shopping centres.

I would recommend the campsite to people who are happy to follow rules, pay their camping fees and not too fussy about the toilet and shower.

I stayed here 2 nights by myself. The manager is very kind, friendly and helpful, the reviews provided by some are inaccurate.

I left my tent for a day and went out rock climbing, came back and everything was still there. The amenities were well cared for - Drinking water, washing machine, hot showers, toilet paper and sanitary bins provided. It was a very quiet spot with friend campers around.

Very quiet spot that is close to the Glasshouse Mtns for walking tracks etc. We were in a van so didn't use the ablutions block. The van site was easily accessible with power and water and very comfortable. The water here is said to be non-potable but there is tank water available to drinking etc. The owner had come across a bit gruff during our email exchange during booking but when we met he was an interesting guy to talk to. This place is ideal for a quiet getaway!

*Brilliant campsite* We read some of the reviews on here and were initially a little nervous about booking HOWEVER, I am so pleased we booked in and went. Campsite is surrounded by the most beautiful views, plenty of space, clean and tidy, you are also provided with fire pits for those who love a little fire! Yes there is a 5km speed limit..he's looking out for the kids and yes there are bugs...you're in the countryside and contrary to some of the reviews on here, we found the owner Steve to be friendly, kind and interesting. We were a little late arriving for the morning tour but that didn't matter, he still showed us round. I am only sad that we won't still be in the country to see the end of his current project. Wishing you all the best in your venture 🙂

Nice camping ground and well maintained. Large undercover fire pit, great to cook your meals and socialise with the other campers. Washing machine and Hot showers are also located on site. Had an excellent stay!
There are no idiots or speeding cars allowed on site and is clearly marked 5kph(Steve will also point this out on check in) which is perfect for families and people who just want to relax and not put up with hoons or people that have no respect, consideration or safety for the other campers. Its great to have an owner that doesn't tolerate those type of people and will gladly move them on.
Looking forward to our next family holiday there!
