Would hardly call this 4 star . Rooms just ok , very dated average bed and facilities is below average no dryer in room and a washing machine that you can only half fill due to flooding management below. But you would think when you book a room you are guaranteed a car park , found myself coming back from a meal to a full park and three other cars wanting one as well . Phoned and was told that it wasn’t part of their responsibility to provide a park and could not do anything about it .

Stayed here for 6 nights for a work trip. Absolutely disgusting. Mould in the aircon units, dust an inch thick in all edges of the bedrooms and on top of paintings. Also mould spores on the carpet and walls. To top it off there was rats and the tap water was brown when the tap was directed on to hot water. Completely unhygienic and unprofessional. Do not recommend staying here at all

Where do I start...I made an online booking but somehow they had the wrong name attached to my booking. The young lady at reception was very apologetic and, I thought, more than a little embarrassed. Room was clean however, the couch is well past its use by date and very uncomfortable. The bed was a close second and quite uncomfortable as well. Bedroom air conditioner was quite noisy so opted not to use it. The clothes dryer had obviously been replaced but not hung in its designated space. It was placed on the work desk in the living area. I was informed by staff that the hotel wasn't particularly busy at the time of my stay. As a returning visitor, I was curious as to why I was put into a room which could have been better. I have stayed here previously, but will only return if there are no other options.

Booked a room got to the hotel after hours rang and got told "We're shut I don't know how you booked" ? Long story short I paid for a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony and was given a 1 bedroom apartment without a balcony only one curtain in the living room , no extra pillows or blanket when my partner rang the lady about getting a curtain or blanket to put over the window she told him "You don't live in the living area" this unfortunately triggered my partners mental health and I myself didn't feel comfortable knowing people could see in ? The room had a musky smell , the bedding had marks on it there was cockroachs on the beaches and in the kitchen cupboards? All this resulted in booking another hotel

Wonderful service. All staff were very welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend and will stay again if up that way 💕

Loved the Halloween theme in reception and the kids thought the spooky cookies were just the best thing ever.

Nice pool area to chill in and spacious rooms.

Management was very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble.

I’m reviewing from the POV of accessibility …

It’s not accessible, despite assurances it would be. There’s no big entry foyer; merely a high concrete step which was embarrassing to access several times daily.

The car park is all on a slope sideways so very anxious about transferring to a small scooter.

Entry to these apartments was met with a large plastic rubbish bin at the entrance and very off-putting.

Upon entry of our room there were 2 spring-loaded internal doors propped open with the back of broken chairs.
It was downright dangerous.

The chairs around the table were mostly all broken with springy backs and in no way suitable for pregnant women, kids, overweight, disabled to sit on.

The double-sofa was very low, very soft and the large cushions had lost their stuffing.

For pregnant women, elderly or with a disability, they were not able to get out of.

The 2 microwaves were above head-height and downright dangerous.

The large, roll-in shower was also downright dangerous with nothing to hold onto getting in and out.
We had to put a wheelie Walker in the shower.
The towel rail was behind the door so unable to be accessed for even an able-bodied person.

The second shower was over a bathtub and also dangerous.
Neither shower was safe.
The bathtub bathroom didn’t have a working overhead fan so when the shower door was opened the spurt of steam set off the smoke alarms, for over 20 minutes and no one came.

The washer and dryer were in that bathroom.

The bedroom area with the unsafe open shower had a small kitchenette with separate fridge, microwave and stove top.
It also had a separate entry door if required.

On a positive note, it had generous supply of Goodies which were much appreciated.

There was a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer which were also much appreciated.

The carpeting was drab and dirty; very dirty.
Our feet on bath mats left dirty footmarks.

The beds were THE BEST mattresses I think I’ve ever slept on.

The sheets were pristine white and a really good standard. However, the brown blankets had suspicious white marks on them in several places so I chose not to use them.

There were ample pillows which was great because they were very thin.

We had a family suite with 2 large bedrooms, each with en-suite.
There was a large central family room with well-equipped kitchenette, kitchen table, desk and living area.

Each room had its own AC and both the family room and one bedroom had a TV.

Hospitality was very good; all requests were met with friendly and helpful responses.

We really appreciated the Early Check-in.

The location was very convenient and within easy walking distance to shops etc. the views to the Port were great.
The place is aged but clean. The outdoor furniture on the balcony was a setting for 4 but only had cushions on 2 chairs. It could do with an upgrade. The shower leaked around the bottom of the glass door so leaked onto the tiled floor. It’s not sealing properly. Neither of these things caused us major problems but just wanted to let you know so they can be attended to.
The bed in the main bedroom is not comfortable. The mattress is saggy so we didn’t get a good sleep.

The lady running the hotel is nice, but unfortunately the walls are very thin, and I could hear the sound of the main road. I have a sleep tracker, and I literally got 0/100 sleep quality. First time I’ve ever had such a bad sleep. Curtains let in a lot of light at the top. Also the smoke detector is constantly blocking right above the bed. Also the bathroom lights didn’t work.
