Handy place when looking for coffee, and somewhere to eat, in the office precinct of Woden.
Good range on the menu, as well as quick grab items at the counter.
If you're in a hurry, you'll need to pick your times judiciously as I've had significant waits on a number of occasions, even when just grabbing a coffee.

Lovely staff, food was nice enough,

Feel like this cafe is only as busy as it is because of position as the coffee needs serious work.

I recommend taking a slightly longer walk and going to space kitchen for food and especially for coffee.

I ordered the taco bowl Thursday 12/02/23. The staff were very friendly but the food was, frankly, terrible. I didn't realise how bad until I was back in my lunchroom opening the container.
The chicken was a piece of dry, overcooked sliced up breast meat. The "salsa" was a handful of garden salad fixings with a tiny amount of avocado mixed in, with some kind of unidentifiable sweet sauce on top. The corn chips were stale, there was no cheese and the tiny blob of "corn salsa" on top looked like it had already been eaten by someone once.
For the price I paid this was totally unacceptable. I had heard good things about the café but was severely disappointed. I don't normally write reviews but felt I had to in this case.

Gizmos is the kind of place that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Today our chicken burger appreciation society tried the BBQ Chipotle chicken burger and it was very good. Everything I love. You will not regret going there. 4 out of 5 clucks.

My go-to cafe during the week. Always a consistent good coffee to start your day!
I’d totally recommend
