We’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday, staying at Girraween Environmental Lodge. |The chalet was well equipped and comfortably set amongst the trees. Wildlife abounded and seemed as happy as we were, with most kargaroos sporting joeys in their pouches. |The property has 10 km of bush walking tracking which were a little more adventurous than those in the national park, next door. |Other attractions situated close by included vineyards, Wallangarra, Stanthorpe, the Stanthorpe Cheese Factory, Suttons Apple Cidery and the very popular Heavenly Chocolates, to which we migrated daily for hot chocolates or coffee after a vigorous walk. |The managers Bengu and Paul went out of their way to welcome us, to answer all our queries and even gave us free eggs from their free-range chickens and ducks! |I heartily recommend this venue. |Felicity

If you're looking for the perfect place for some R&R, to reconnect with family, be amongst the magic of nature and/or hike some amazing trails this place is a must place to visit! Our stay started with the most hospitable and informative welcome having us excited to get to our lodge which was to the coziest, most well appointed accommodation. The attention to detail was phenomenal....the thought gone into equipping each and every space was amazingly. Beds were super comfy, with bedrooms so roomy. Bathroom was so spacious with a roomy spa bath to enjoy. The kitchen left you needing nothing else and was a great space to prepare meals....which you will want to do, as if like us, you wouldn't want to leave to eat out! Home-made meals, nice glass of wine on the comfy couch, sitting by the fire in the coziest of settings was fantastic!|Our family loved our time here and with no wi-fi it meant that we got to share some much needed family time. And we all loved our heated outdoor spa time under the stars. What a treat!|We did not want to leave but we know we will definitely be back.|These hosts sure know how to ensure their guests are provided with every little thing that will guarantee a memorable experience.

We spent 3 nights at Girraween Environmental Lodge and the Girraween National Park area and the experience is wonderful. Sitting out on the deck at night watching the stars and satellites fly by with a glass of wine was amazing. The chalet was well appointed, good size spa bath, full size fridge and coffee facilities ( plunger or machine). What more do you need? The flora and fauna were superb and the views were just spectacular.
Pyramid Rd wines, which was just a short drive were also excellent. We will definitely be back.

Last week we had our wedding at this beautiful lodge, and I honestly can't recommend this place enough!!||All of our guests stayed at the lodge and we hiked up to the cathedral arch (on their property) for the perfect, most spectacular, private ceremony. Our guests all left raving about how fantastic the accommodation and location were. Everyone was so impressed!||Secondly, Bengu and Paul are just amazing! Their communication was fantastic, and they went above and beyond to accomidate all of our needs and requests both before, and throughout our stay!||After the ceremony we were able to run up the Pyramids in the national park for a sunset photo shoot before returning to the lodge for the reception. Both the lodge and the surrounding national park have so much beauty to offer! ||I'd probably have to write novel to fully explain everything the owners did to help us out. Just wow. Wonderful people. I can't thank them enough. 10/10 would recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the lodge. The cabin was set up well and absolutely loved a morning cup of tea on the deck watching all the wildlife. The hikes on the property are worth exploring and our 2 year old loved the farm animals, especially little Dawn, the rescue deer! We even got to meet 2 day old baby goat triplets. The hosts were more than accommodating.

We went here for a friends wedding. It was the most amazing venue. Such a beautiful place and Bengu looked after us so well. The wedding was over three days and the ceremony was up at the cathedral arch. Very accessible if you want a wedding in the beautiful boulders of the girraween area

Have had an amazing few days. The lodges are very lovely. Great walking on your doorstep. Beds super comfortable/snuggly. The owners went above and beyond to help us out which was very much appreciated. We all loved the deers and animals too.

Escape the rat-race of the city! These cozy chalets are just 2.5hrs from Brisbane. My wife and I took our three kids here in August. It was incredibly peaceful, offering a balance of luxury and the opportunity to disconnect. We loved watching the fireplace flicker each night while playing card games, but also enjoyed the enormous spa bath. The trails are well marked, and were able to be navigated by myself and my two oldest children (9 and 7). The views are spectacular! The hosts, Paul & Bengu made us feel welcome, and ensured our holiday was special. Activities for kids include, a large library of books, DVDs, and boardgames; large fields for kicking a ball around; swimming pools (including a heated spa); feeding the animals; spotting wildlife. We loved our stay and hope to return.
