Best Wedding Ever!

From the moment we visited Ginninderry Homestead, we knew it was the perfect venue! The front lawn provided a beautiful, natural setting for our ceremony, it didn’t need any extra décor to feel special. The reception space was ideal for the relaxed, outdoor party vibe we wanted, giving us the perfect atmosphere to celebrate.

Amelia went above and beyond to make the entire process effortless and stress-free. As I'm someone who isn’t much of a planner, I truly appreciated how easy she made everything!

The food was absolutely outstanding and the highlight for many of our guests, especially those with dietary requirements, who were exceptionally well taken care of.

We can’t thank or recommend Ginninderry Homestead enough! If you’re looking for a stunning venue with amazing service and incredible food, this is the place!

Our wedding was a dream come true, set amidst the enchanting gardens of Ginninderry Homestead, a secluded gem on the outskirts of Canberra in picturesque Wallaroo, NSW. The outdoor reception was nothing short of magical, with perfect weather and an atmosphere that felt almost surreal. Our guests enjoyed a memorable dining experience under a canopy of twinkling fairy lights and majestic trees, creating an unforgettable ambiance.
Working with Amelia was an absolute pleasure. Her prompt responses to my many questions were invaluable as I curated our wedding flowers and decorations, adding personal touches to our special day. We spent two nights at the homestead, where we enjoyed spacious rooms and delightful brekkies each morning. The reception was a testament to Amelia and her team's flawless organisation. The culinary experience featured delectable share platters that our guests enjoyed.
Ginninderry Homestead provided the perfect backdrop for our love story, creating memories that will last a lifetime. It's a venue that captures hearts and brings dreams to life.

Ginninderry homestead is a wonderful location for a wedding. Connected with the surrounding natural landscape, including the lovely creek that runs besides the homestead, the trees, gardens and wildlife, the venue is perfect for intimate and relaxed weddings, and is great value.
Was so convenient to have the ceremony in the gardens, take photos around the property whilst guests had canapés and drinks, and then have the reception, all at the homestead property, whilst being able to stay at the venue the night before and the night of (including our bridal party). The food was lovely, but note you must organise your own alcohol options.
Amelia and the team made sure that everything went smoothly and we couldn't be happier with how the day went!

The staff that run the Ginninderry Homestead are simply amazing. Super great communication, very friendly and helpful which makes planning your big day such a breeze. The location is stunning and the reception hall is the perfect clean slate to decorate however you like. The ONLY thing I could possibly complain about was that the bed in our room was a bit hard but that's personal preference. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location as a wedding venue and accommodation.

Perfect venue for a wedding! Many thanks to Amelia and her team who made sure our daughter’s wedding was a beautiful, relaxed event. Every detail was thought out and Amelia was so responsive to our plans/ questions in the lead up to day - this was a great help. The food and service at the reception also excellent. We got married at Ginninderry Homestead on the 12th October 2019.
Everything was perfect. Amelia was amazing to deal with in the lead up to the wedding, helping keep our minds at ease.
The venue is spectacular, the gardens are gorgeous and the views incredible. It's easy to see the love and devotion put into Ginninderry Homestead.
Plenty of great food options and being able to bring our own alcohol helped keep the cost down.
On the day of the wedding, Amelia and the team did everything they could to help us. During the evening, we didn't have to worry about the bar or the food or tidying up becuase they had it all under control. The next morning everything had already been packed away for us so we just had to pack the cars.

The accommodation was great and made the weekend very enjoyable. The breakfast was ready waiting for us both mornings and it was the perfect amount to food to get us up and going! The Homestead itself has a wonderful feel to it, lovely photos, antique furniture and while you're there you feel like you are taking a step back in time.

Had my wedding here about three weeks ago; the staff, especially Sharon, were phenomenal help in both organising and preparing the stunning site for the day. The rooms were very neat, clean, crisp and wonderful experience to rest at. The grounds were immaculate, and their gardeners had done a splendid job keeping everything perfect. The reception venue was superb which accommodated my 90 off guests (included bridal party).

I couldn't have asked for a better venue for our big day.
