Wonderful walk from the Dalsetta Car Park, took around three hours return at a moderate pace. Track is well marked and safe, we took our children along and it was fine.

Views from the top are stunning. We took lunch up and I would strongly recommend that!

There is a public toilet in the Dalsetta Car Park for before and after your hike!

A recommend from me!

The rock formations and the views at the top๐Ÿ‘€ really make this a worth while hike. I'm only of average fitness and have a dodgy knee, but managed this hike just fine, taking plenty of pics along the way, and only taking 2.5hrs๐Ÿšถ for the entire walk (not the listed 3-4hrs in the brochure)๐ŸŒฟ A highlight would have to be the large groups of kangaroos that you walk past that are just a few metres from you! There is an information centre, gift store and cafe โ˜•all in one, at the base of the national park.๐ŸŒฟ There are also a number of shorter walks๐Ÿšถ, other than the walk to Gibraltar Peak, that offer a chance to see lots of different wild life ๐Ÿจ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿž๐ŸŒฑ

Did this in 2.5 hours. Good quality shoes for gripping rocky surface is recommended. Otherwise be careful as itโ€™s easy to slip.
Excellent views from the top. Spotted emus, wombat, kangaroos, wallabies, tors as we started early at 7.30am.

The weather was very lovely on the day we decided to go on a hike to Gibraltar peak. Our group chose a route with a rather mild difficulty. As someone who has done remarkably difficult routes back in my country, I couldn't help but be disappointed at how tame the route was. The walking path was generously wide throughout the trek and there were only two or three short parts with rocky uphills. I swear this route would feel more adventurous on a mountain bike rather than walking.

Also, the peak itself was rather disappointing because the trail ends very abruptly and you are left on top of / side of two or three large boulders. The views from the boulders are definitely nice though.

If you are someone who is used to mountainous, hilly or high altitude terrain, then you might be disappointed with this hike. Otherwise, if you are more used to the city / beach life, this might be a solid getaway.

Really exhilarating walk, it was moderate to hard but we made it hard by climbing the rock at peak and it just took us 3 hours return including 30 min rest...pretty amazing and awesome experience so far.

Anyone without active lifestyle should be able to do this walk. Not hard at all. Iโ€™m glad I did it. It was so good to enjoy the view on a big piece of rock
