Would definitely recommend this day spa to a friend! Clean, relaxing and really warm service and atmosphere. I believe this is the most full featured day spa on Tamborine mountain - the steam room and spa bath seem unique to this day spa (I might be wrong but it seems this way!)

Went here with my mother just for a 90 minute use of the facilities as she really wanted a luxurious spa bath, we received the warmest welcome and introduction to the facilities and we thoroughly enjoyed our time using them. There is gentle music playing and the owners have set the place up to be very relaxing, it very much feels private and like your own space. Photos don’t quite do it justice.

I had a few questions that other reviews didn’t quite answer so I will just cover them below in case anyone is interested
- there is room temperature water and tea available, there is a kettle to boil water for the tea
- there is a toilet (separate to the spa room) and one changing room (separate to the toilet and spa room), the changing room provides various robes, slippers and towels
- a cutting board and champagne glasses are available for your snacks and drinks
- the facilities are - infrared sauna, ice bath, steam room with shower, spa bath with lights, jets and bubbles etc, and a mineral bath that has a very gentle jet
- the spa room itself is air conditioned
- the sauna is programmable and you can change the temperature and intensity
- everything was spotless

Fantastic spa! Very reasonably priced, staff are lovely and offer a wide variety of treatments! I had free use of the spa room for almost two hours before having my remedial massage! Highly recommend!

My partner and I had an amazing spa experience here! The spa session before our massage was incredible, I loved the steam room, I had never been in one before, it was amazing! It was so nice moving around the room and trying the different spa amenities (sauna, magnesium pool, ice bath, spa bath and steam room). Then the actual massage was amazing! We chose a relaxation massage which was a full body massage, it was so good! Getaway Spa went above and beyond my expectations.

My friend and I enjoyed the best 2 and a half hours being pampered at the Getaway Spa with an hour full body massage followed by 90 minutes in the Spa room. The facilities in the room were an infrared sauna, an ice bath, a spa big enough for 4 adults to enjoy, a steam room and a mineral pool. They also provide tea and coffee making facilities and all the necessary to enjoy your own picnic.
The room was fully kitted out with robes, towels and slippers and was clean, nicely decorated and very welcoming.
10/10 Getaway Spa!

My husband and I went to Getaway Spa today and honestly could not rate the spa high enough. Starting with 90 mins in the experience room which included an infrared sauna; steam room; spa; ice bath; and magnesium bath was incredible. The facilities provided were beyond what any other spa we have visited have provided. Top quality and the most amazing ambience. We then followed this with a 60 minute treatment. Couldn't rate the therapists high enough, my husband who hates massages asked for his to be tailored specifically to his needs and came out so happy we are already going to book another session for a couple of weeks time.

Pictures do not do this place justice! I just had my first visit at getaway day spa and I can say I will 100% be returning. The space is beautiful and I enjoyed every minute. Can’t recommend enough!! 😊
