Stayed for the long weekend to catch up with friends. Already familiar with the great bar bistro and fab location so booked the room with the balcony., was very impressed. Spacious , all in-room facilities provided, large bathroom, super clean and very comfy bed. Check in and out was a breeze and easy to find off street parking. Couldn’t hear a smothering of planes or trains with the balcony door close. I’ll definitely be staying again. The staff were so lovely.

Don’t let the exterior fool you! We’ve driven past this pub so many times but never went in, as the exterior looked like a seedy corner pub but boy were we wrong. The interiors were updated and swanky, and the food was nice and tasty! The panna cotta with blood orange sorbet was pretty and delicious, will be back to try the rest of the menu

Our home away from home. Love staying at the hotel. So easy to get there from the airport and remarkably quiet in the rooms. Great people work at the GG. The food is fabulous. Had the special Tomahawk steak. It was cooked to perfection with plenty of potatoes, huge salad and broccoli.
The restaurant is always busy so best to book a table, although they do keep some available for walk ins. Try Kirsten’s relish, it’s in the condiments buffet. Yum

First time coming here and the menu had a good range of choices. We opted for Pizza which was amazing. Tasted really nice and cooked to perfection. The chips tasted good with a nice garlic dip.

Good range of ales, beer and cider.

We arrived fairly late after our flights were cancelled. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Spent a fair amount of time at the hotel the next day awaiting our next flight. Thank you Rebecca for your help and kindness.

Absolutely loving my stay at The General Gordan. Staff are so accommodating and friendly, food is fantastic and the room is very clean and updated. Double windows ensure minimal noise. No faults!

Another great group meal at the GG. Food is always great, staff friendly and fun atmosphere. Was particularly impressed with how helpful the staff were today about bringing a birthday cake for our son’s 18th. No hassle and super accommodating.
