Shocking caravan park. The amenities are one the worst I encountered. There is no maintenance done here and everything is dirty and broken. Yes the amenities are cleaned daily, but still horrible. The septic system beside them stinks. The park is on dirt if it were to rain it would be a muddy mess. The sites are very tight and if you have a big van it would be a challenge. I strongly recommend you don't stay there.

Had an absolute blast here with the kids. Care taker was lovely and the permanent resident on site took time to show us all the animals that come out at night. Kids did some fossicking available at the park. Old but very clean ammenities and extremely friendly people. Close walk to town also. Thanks guys can’t wait to come back!

Lovely park on the edge of town that is also close enough to walk to the local for a great meal. We shared a 2 bedroom ensuited room that also had kitchen facilities and covered parking. Rooms were a good size and comfortable. Reverse cycle air con kept us warm and the good size fridge kept our food cold. The lounge was a little old and uncomfortable but otherwise a great stay in a lovely, well kept park. The visiting birds and wildlife are a wonderful addition.

We had an amazing stay at Gemseekers Caravan park! The staff were lovely and helpful. The park was almost full and it was heavily rain and we were staying in swags, so the staff moved somethings around to ensure we were comfortable in a cabin. We had 2 adults and a 16 year old and we felt really well accommodated. The amenities were fantastic and clean, the hot water was amazing after a long day of mining. ||||The pub is 5 minutes walking distance away along with shops, cafes and the gem galleries. ||||On our first night there was a fire which had a fantastic atmosphere, where we could toast marshmallows and play some of the guitar. ||||We will definitely be coming back in the future. ||Thanks again everyone!

This was definitely the most special caravan park we have ever stayed at. For a bunch of reasons, it was a super cute park where they fed the wildlife every night, nice hot showers, clean amenities, a place to cook and wash up, fires every night, willabee’s, this place has everything and more. And most importantly Terry and Rowie (the owners) are the loveliest people you will ever meet, they have been so kind to us and we will miss them a lot! See you guys next time πŸ™‚ x

Wonderful place, everyone is nice and helpful. There is tons of wildlife everywhere and you can even find sapphires on the ground! There are birds everywhere. Our campsite even got "swarmed" by apostlebirds. The amenities are sparkling clean. the Camp Kitchen is stocked up with clean pots, pans, plates and cutlery. At night you find wallabies and kangaroos hopping around. The only downside I found is that Queensland gets so hot even during winter, But thankfully there are fans in the Camp Kitchen. There's also alot of shade to protect from the sun. At night it gets icy cold but there is a beautiful stary night sky to make up for the cold. (Attached image of apostlebirds)

Our 2 night stay here was awesome, what a gem of a Caravan Park, very quite, not very big BUT you don't get overcrowded, we had a look at the other caravan park in town, the caravans were all jammed in together with no privacy whatsoever, at Gemseekers we had plenty of room with gardens in-between each site so very private, ementies were very clean, camp fire area was great, laundry and kitchen was impressive as it had a real country feel to it. All this with-in easy walk to the small town of Rubyvale. Thanks Terry for making us so welcome , if in Rubyvale again we will definitely stay here again.
