Today we visited the RSL in Geelong on a Saturday night and were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The service was impressively fast, especially considering how busy the evening was. Meals came out promptly, and the staff remained friendly and efficient throughout the night. One fantastic bonus is their “Kids Eat Free” offer for children under 12, which is a great incentive for families and definitely made the night more affordable.

The food was excellent—generous portions, well-cooked, and clearly made with care. Whether you're after classic pub fare or something a bit more refined, the menu caters to a wide range of tastes. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a good mix of patrons and a comfortable layout that didn’t feel overly crowded.

That said, the kids' game area was underwhelming. It’s quite small and very limited in what it offers. For a venue aiming to attract families, this space could definitely use a revamp. Investing in a more engaging and spacious kids' zone would not only enhance the experience for young ones but also encourage more families to return. A larger, better-equipped area would make dining more relaxing for parents and more fun for children.

Overall, RSL Geelong delivers great value, excellent service, and quality meals in a relaxed setting. With a few improvements to the children’s area, it could become a top choice for family dining in the region. We’ll definitely be back—but hope to see some upgrades soon.

Great atmosphere, free car parking, friendly customer service and delicious Sunday Lamb Roast lunch. Tender meat, freshly cooked veg but under seasoned. Great portions, great price, would recommend 🤩

What an awesome venue. Flexible meal options, friendly and welcoming staff. Shout to Mary who gave us great table service. So friendly, she's an asset to the RSL. We'll be back.

Visiting from.Warrnambool, Really nice place. Had a lovely meal for two.. just a very quick getaway for us old parents of teens! Battered fish and chips will salad for me, beef schnitzel with gravy and veg for hubby with a garlic loaf to start. All very nice to eat and lovely staff. Couple of drinks and some time at the pokies and then we walked back to our rices were r accommodation which was just 5 mins on foot. Recommended for a casual or even slightly more meal. Prices were very appropriate and large serving sizes. Can't go wrong at an RSL. xx

We have just had lunch as a group of 13, The club was very busy but we all received our meals timely and professionally. Everyone was happy with the meals and portions were generous. The staff were friendly and professional. We will definitely be back.

Came here last night with my housemate for celebratory tea as I have nearly finished my Enrolled Nursing course.. Food was excellent. Well presented on the plate, tasty and well seasoned and easy to chew and get through😋😋 I had onion rings to share with my housemate then I had mini seafood selction for mains and sticky date pudding for desserts🥧😋 My housemate had roast beef with veggies for mains and a chocolate pudding for sweets🥧😃 Friendly bar and wait staff and I even won a meat tray to take home..🍖🍗🥩🥩 Will be back again..

Great food, good portions, lovely eating area. Staff were incredibly friendly, genuine positive interactions as a large group travelling to the area. Only down side was the children’s play room which definitely needs a refresh. But the experience we had due to the friendly staff made up for it.

Staff are amazing. 5 star plus. Food on the other hand is fast and unfortunately would never torture my palette again with it. Would only feed the chicken and cashew stir fry to my dog if she was starving.
