Very nice restaurant with excellent selection of food and drinks. The Lemon Meringue cocktail was amazing. The staff is nice but we were waiting for the dessert menu for too long, so we finally went and asked for it. However after that, nobody came to take the dessert order. Unfortunately we were just bored of waiting and left without the dessert which was a little deception. Keep up the good work but be more focused on your job especially on such a quiet night 😉
We will come back to try the desserts.

Truly a hidden gem in Emerald.

The stone grill is a must try, I'd recommend to be adventurous and go for it, Wagyu rump 8/9 marbling score 350g!

Sear both sides and start cutting them and setting them aside. As you revisit them, sear the insides and enjoy each piece.

P.S. cut off the fat and leave it on the grill. Let it cook through and enjoy the flavour.

Sears in all the natural juices and nutrients, giving a taste beyond expectations.
Thousand Guineas Black Angus, cooked and served with garden salad and nectar potato wedges or creamy potato mash and vegetables with mushroom sauce

I was in Emerald for 3 weeks and went to this restaurant without knowing that I was about to eat the best steak of my life (please note I’m a foreigner). I ate an Australian wagyu, and man, it was amazing. Highly recommended. Find some videos here 🙂

Staff serving tables had no idea what they needed to do or what their role is. I had the Chicken breast at $39 and chicken was so dry and clearly not freshly made.
I would rather walk up the road and get a much better meal for cheaper. What a disappointment 😞

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Gateway and had a lovely experience with delicious food and great wine selection. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return. Thanks Gateway.
