We loved our stay! It had everything we needed. We had the best 4 nights here & will definetly be coming back again. It was such great value for money as well. Free parking, close to everything but far enough away from the city to be nice and peaceful.|Our room was big, spacious & clean. The bed and pillows were so comfy, we had the best sleep. The water pressure in the shower was great. Fresh towels & linen daily, the room always smelt so nice too.|The continental breakfast buffet was perfect, so many things to choose from to eat, all fresh & the cooked food was piping hot. We honestly couldn’t fault it & thank the staff for all their hard work keeping the property clean & welcoming for its guests.

We booked 3 nights at Garden City Best Western, and this included buffet breakfast in the motel’s restaurant. ||On arrival we were welcomed and settled into our room. The room has a queen bed, table and chairs and two other comfy chairs. ||TV has streaming apps. There are power points either side of the bed for charging devices which were fairly easy to access. ||Canberra is very easy to drive around and found Garden City a good base to do so. ||Buffet Breakfast was the usual bacon, eggs, sausages, grilled tomato, baked beans as well as a range of juices, yogurts, breads, fruit. The young girl managing the restaurant did a great job.

This hotel is situated about 6 kilometres from the centre of Canberra, which is only a 10 minute journey by car. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly. The breakfasts were good, and so were the dinners. I had the pork fillets, and my wife had the Barramundi. Both were very good. If we return to Canberra, we would not hesitate to book again.

Great local accommodation for visiting the German Club's concert. Many attended the concert, then walked back to our motel rooms.

The lovely young lady at reception couldn't be any more helpful. Advised us where best to park, etc. Very welcoming staff lady. We were in room 242 on Friday night 21 Sept.

A quiet and quality stay. Convenient and comfortable hotel with good amenities. Free parking, outside pool, and decent breakfast. On-site restaurant had good selection and reasonably priced.

The accommodation was truly excellent.
It was clean, and all the staff were friendly, so our family had no discomfort during our stay.

However, on the morning of our checkout day, around 10 AM, a rude man yelled and cursed at us on the second floor of the parking lot.
He continued to make derogatory remarks about Asians and gestured for a fight in areas without CCTV.
It was very frightening. He seemed to be a long-term resident, so please be careful if you encounter him.

When we reported this to the hotel lobby, they assisted us.
We are very grateful and had a wonderful stay thanks to their help

Stayed here for 2 weeks for work
Very old place.. I know they call themselves a hotel but it's really more a motel than anything.

Although it's a very old place the cleanliness of the rooms were excellent.

The front desk staff were always polite and helpful.

The gym shouldn't even be open. Afew very old machines half were broken better not have this room and call it a gym.

The internet was included except in room 116 it wouldn't work when I was in my room. I would have to go into the hall way to get it to connect.. Not ideal especially if you rely on an internet connection for work.

The place was not close to anything and infact surrounded by farmland and mountains in the background....

This place offers the basics in a clean environment.. If you simply need a clean place to sleep and shower this place will give you that easily.. If you need something more then you will be disappointed.

We stayed over the weekend and had a pleasant stay but not once but twice was I ignored by a blonde female staff member at the reception desk. Twice I stood in front of her and she did not even raise her eyes from the computer let alone speak to me to say ‘ someone will be with you in a minute’….. or something to that affect to acknowledge she knew I was standing a foot away from her. The second time she muttered another staff member’s name and he came running from the back room. He was actually incredibly helpful (Bobby I think the name was) and he was pleasant both when we checked in and out. The woman on the other hand needs to learn some manners and a little about customer service. I totally understand she was probably busy, but a simple acknowledgment would|have sufficed. ||Unfortunately I don’t think we will stay again. Which is disappointing as we were attending a large annual event at the Club next door.
