We had a suit room, very clean, spacious with a balcony , a bath so relaxing , the bed was constable, the pillow was too soft for my personal taste.
Highly recommended this place.
Definitely, we will be back.

We booked 2 suites and 5 rooms for a big birthday celebration over a weekend. We all had wonderful weekend. The rooms were great, the staff were FANTASTIC, the service was superb! We couldn’t have asked for anything more (and even if we did they would have organised it for us immediately) Maggie was amazing. They gave us a magic weekend. Thank you!

I was looking forward to staying at The Gambaro, following my business trip to Perth. I arrived on a Red Eye flight. Thus, I requested if Daniel could check me in early. Fortunately, he accommodated this request, as there are no restaurants or shops open on Caxton Street, at 6.30am.

Daniel was very helpful with enabling me to access my room after losing my keycards at midnight. We enjoyed a delightful conversation about how different countries practice different standards and expectations with respect to hospitality.

I was looking forward to extending my stay at The Gambaro. However, Sunday morning I was rudely startled by excessive banging on my door. Maggie and a young man, Sam hastily demanded that i leave the room at 11.05 am.
Now, check out time is 11am. Typically, most hotels allow a 30 minute grace period, particularly for reputable, business guests. So , I was appalled that both Maggie and Sam refused to leave the door, while I amassed the rest of my luggage.

Furthermore, upon entering the lobby, they aggressively demanded that I "pay the bill". I had already paid for two nights. Hence, I was taken aback by their hostility.

I stated, I will have to make some calls overseas to settle this, and requested ttottheirience . Maggie hollered, 'I don't care it's nearly 12pm.' She continually kept threatening to escalate the matter vociferously in front of other hotel guests.I felt as if i was under attack. Both Sam and Maggie repeatedly accused my association and I of being Fraudulent.

Conversely , I've worked in 4 countries, in 9 cities as a REGISTERED health care practitioner. Indispitably, experienced health care practitioners are highly coveted professionals . So, i was horrified to be addressed with such disrespect and belligerence by Sam and Maggie The Gambaro. How can you upheld business with corporate and professional clients when you attack their integrity?

Moreover, I have been the girlfriend of a former professional athlete. I understand that the NRL now owns The Gambaro Hotel. The disrespectful behavior exuded by Sam and Maggie, does NOT reflect the ethos and values professional sport. Instead, it undermines the integrity of professional sport.

This hotel has significant potential, but management needs to be overhauled

My husband and I stayed there last night for a concert at Suncorp. The room was awesome but I really wish we could give more stars for the service. The lovely Maggie was so friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and trouble free. Thanks. We will be back for sure. Thanks Julie

I recently made an booking with this hotel to celebrate my partners birthday in order to have a good rest. I saw this hotel from Agoda app. I have to say that when I arrived at check in, I found that the environment of this hotel was much higher quality than I expected and my booking is a deluxe room with bath tub. When I saw the environment and view in our room, I decided to stay for another night! It’s such a pretty place and our breakfast is always serve at our front door on every 7am. Beside for the service, the man who at the front desk on work on Sunday and Monday , I forgot to ask his name. He is really a very enthusiastic and helpful staff. It can be said that it is the first time I have met such a good service provider. He is very concerned about every guest. Thank him for giving us such a perfect accommodation experience. It's a pity to check out. At that time, he didn't go on work and didn't have a change to thank him properly. We will definitely will get back for next time!

We discovered this place by accident as we were looking to stay somewhere close to a party we were attending in Brisbane The room was bigger than we had expected, well laid out and very clean. The bed was probably the best hotel bed we have slept in. We had requested a quiet room, which they had on their notes when we checked in and they gave us just that and a complimentary breakfast! Staff very polite and helpful. We will definitely be staying at the Gambaro the next time we are in Brisbane

We stayed for 2 nights the night before Melbourne Cup and Melbourne Cup night.
The rooms them selves are lovely but definitely need better lighting.
Also tried to use the Sundeck Lounge on level 3 but no cushions on the seats and the awnings are all torn.
Reception staff are amazing.
