Big thanks for throwing such a great birthday party for my daughter, we had an awesome time! The food was seriously delicious, and Kylie and Brooke were super helpful and friendly the whole way through. My daughter loved the vibe of the place. It was really easy working with Lauren on our requests, and we really appreciated how much the team was able to accommodate. Overall, we’d definitely come back, especially for those amazing canapés, please pass on our compliments to the chef!

Ann Marie and the team at Frontside go above and beyond to make sure you have a night to remember! We hosted one of our best friend's hens party and her friends and family can't stop talking about it. The hen herself was crying happy tears even the day after, as it was that memorable! The ambience, personable hospitality, food and drinks was way beyond what we expected!

I chose Frontside Food and Wine for my baby shower on the weekend. The planning process was absolutely seamless and stress-free thanks to the amazing events staff.
On the day, the venue was perfection. Food and drinks were so great, all of my guests were so impressed. Not to mention, how lovely the staff are- they really did go above and beyond for myself and all guests.
I highly recommend Frontside for events, they’re amazing!

I had my 18th birthday here and we could not imagine it being any better. There food was so good, I also highly recommend the grazing board as it was very filling and all my guests left with stomachs full from the range of food. I also loved the managing team, the girls who were there alongside there manager were spectacular! They were bright, bubbly and super helpful the entire event.

They truly were the best and were super good at communicating the times and event style and it was a simple process of getting the even ready!

We recommend anyone who is having a birthday to come and do it right here! we had roughly 60 guests and with both inside and outside space it was more than enough, with alot of space to move around.

Thank you frontside for a wonderful night and your amazing staff, nothing could have been better than this. 😊

Frontside Food and Wine is a stunning cafe located in Port Melbourne, positioned on Fennel St right next to their two other ventures @coeandcoeau and @cactusfoodclub_. The name is in reference to a skateboarding trick meaning to approach an obstacle forwards rather than backwards. The 1920’s redbrick venue is stunning, boasting high ceilings, large iron windows and a woodfire pizza oven. 🍕

After visiting mid last year, we were keen to get back in to try some more of their menu, this time some lunch options too! Starting with some coffees and chai (both good and strong) following through to something a bit harder.. a Bloody Mary (could’ve had more pepper/spice) and a Spicy Coconut Margarita ($13!?!). 🤯

The N’duja Scramble was definitely spicy, with the chilli on top almost a little sweet and then the N’duja spread on the toast. We loved the addition of those crispy Brussel Sprouts. We did find the bread got soggy very quick. 🌶️

The Eggplant Parma impressed me, it was super crispy and in a delicious sauce. Our favourite dish though was the perfectly cooked Gnocchi Ragu, with a flavourful slow braised osso bucco sauce and plenty of cheese. Served with that is their dreamy Onion Focaccia and some olive oil with vino cotto. 😮‍💨

Get you a cafe that does it all. Fantastic spot with a unique menu, great cocktails and the friendliest staff. Not the first and not the last visit for me! Also - If your ever in need of an event space, definitely hit them up (no hire fee just minimum spends, great value!).

Hidden gem within the industrial area of port Melbourne! Came on Saturday for brunch and surprised to see no one around. The smash burgers have these thin juicy patties and the sauce works really well to glue the whole dish together. The gnocchi is soft and the sauce is flavourful. They even offered some bread to wipe the sauce clean!

Three of us came to Frontside Food & Wine on a Sunday morning for brunch. We ordered the chicken salad, and two of the rise and grind big breakfasts with fried eggs and scrambled eggs. The food was delicious, and the service was also excellent. The outdoor seating was really nice and fortunately it was very sunny. Thank you so much to Frontside Food & Wine.

We had a 'milestone' birthday party with the Frontside team a few weeks ago - from start to finish, the whole experience was excellent!
The Frontside team are very responsive and great to communicate with, whilst their venue options, service options and pricing are all very clear to understand.

On the evening itself, the whole party had a really fantastic time and it was a great showcase to a lot of people of the quality food service Frontside really has - the food and drinks options and output were both plentiful and top quality!

We had a lot of fun at Frontside and I would definitely recommend it to anyone to host a party / gathering. Thank you all!
