Had a wonderful lunch at the club restaurant yesterday . Such a beautiful outlook overlooking the boats and water ! It was one of the best fish and chips I’ve had for a while and my son enjoyed his steak with a pepper creamy sauce immensely .
They do have lunch specials on different days which offer great value for money .

Fremantle Sailing Luncheon Club Wednesday 25/06/2025 . Everyone at our table enjoyed the guest speakers. Our compliments to the staff and chef for their excellent service. The smorgasbord meal was beautifully presented with very generous servings and variety. Every dish was delectable. Thank you.

We have just competed in the Cockburn Cup and Dvoretsky cup sailing races from The Cruising Yacht Club Rockingham to the Fremantle Sailing Club and back the next day over the weekend. Arriving at FSC and marina on my yacht (Meggie 2), we found the whole facility was a feast for the eyes as we docked against a vessel friendly wharf with its white padded mooring pylons.
A stayover for the night saw us enjoying their well equipped club house facilities, food and friendly staff service.
Also a big thank you to your racing control staff and rescue boat that saw us safely towed in after we entangled a rope in our prop on our way in. Oops!
What a wonderful venue and experience, thank you.

Gotta say, I love this place's environment and its decoration. It just made my heart warm for some reasons. The place was clean. Bathroom is spacious and hygenic.

Staffs are very friendly. There are two sections: the bar and a proper dine-in resraurant.

The best part was the food. Omg!! I love my meal ( cant remember the name) , I highly recommend this dish ( in the picture). Honestly, I am very stingy with compliments toward food when we dine- out; espectually, if there menu is considered $$$. The pasta, hands up, was delicious.
However, I was disappointed with their cream brelee because the caramilised sugar on top was as thin as a piece of paper. The dish came with bitscotti , which was thick and, with respect, was some unenjoyable biscuit that should never have been called bitscotti.

Anyhow, we were all happy 🙂

On Thursday evening I went to FSC after 2 years. I was delighted that the quality of menu and food had improved.
But WHY did 3 meals come to the table fairly quickly and the 4 others 40 mins later. This spoilt our family gathering for my sons birthday and was embarrassing first me. It wasn't even busy. My husband was a founder member of FSC in 1983 I'm quite underwhelmed by the restaurant facilities now whereas in the past have been awesome. I hope management in the kitchen can be improved

Hi. I'm a senior member of 38 years standing, and normally wouldn't be writing reviews of my club, as it still provides the range and wealth of services and facilities I've become used to.
However, this year I have had 4 English guests coming to Australia for the first time, part of which has seen them staying on my boat for some days and making use of all the facilities and services I mentioned. In particular they have had a number of dinners in the restaurant which they have thoroughly enjoyed. They can't speak highly enough of the club and its general environment, but especially have been overwhelmed by the friendliness and efficiency of the bar and restaurant staff.
I'm not just blowing smoke here...this review is the result of genuine comments.

Pretty disappointed with our experience. We booked a special family lunch here as one of the family is a long time member and has fond memories of the club. Unfortunately when we went to order, they had sold out of what we wanted (the prawns). We then looked at the menu again, went to order, and they advised they were also sold out of the oysters. It took about 4 visits to the counter before we could order as we kept receiving new information about what else was unavailable.
I don’t know why this information isnt shared when we first went to order. It’s frustrating.. also, surely someone can go and purchase prawns or oysters…
Anyways, beautiful venue, service could improve.

No table service for dinner on a Saturday night, had to order at bar and then carry drinks and glasses back to table.
It is fairly obvious that the Club are not interested in this venue and will seek to close it.
