Went to get my regular tea in my keep cup I have been using for years.
Usually I have great interactions with the staff, but the older lady yelled out in front of me today (in front of other cafe customers and centre shoppers) saying if I was going to use a keep cup to clean it because it was too hard to open. She then went to the customers she was serving and complained about people using keep cups.

If anyone has ever had issues opening my cup (because yes sometimes I don’t know my strength when I do it up) I have always been politely asked if I could help them undo it.

There was no reason for this worker to be such a rude person!

?☕ want a smile with your awesome cup of coffee & sweet cannoli or ?donut? The staff here are always grinning ? This cute new cafe at Lake Macquarie Square (in the newest end by Coles) is the perfect spot for a refuel, perk you up again, get you back up & running! I'm fussy about my mocha's and these guys get it just right ? And once you enjoy one of their filled cannoli (love ? the ricotta ones!!) your gonna need super powers to walk past them!!

Bought a Ferreo Rocher cake for a friends birthday. Everyone loved it. It was fresh and delicious. I can't believe all the whole cakes are $35 - such a bargain for the quality you get. Such a great cafe.

Bought 2 coffees today one soya latte one cappuccino with one sugar in each on receiving we realized something was wrong and they were like drinking cold milk , took them back where they proceeded to remake them but the person was critical saying can you see me I'm putting in the sugar and the chocolate into the 2 coffees that nothing was wrong with the other ones and snickering and laughing at the same time. We will never go back and tell everyone we know about the worst service and feeling we didn't matter. You need to hire someone who understand customer service, I work it in everyday and the customer is always right

Nothing to write home about. 1.5 strength coffee bitter and way too strong (charged for double-strength). While the grumpy old man (owner?) was serving me without a smile, the young blond staff member rudely stared at me! Someone tell her that is very bad manners and off-putting. Won't go back.

I’ve been eating meat pies and drinking coffee for a long time. Trust me, you won’t find much better pies than at Franky & Co. The steak and pepper is incredible. The mocha is awesome, too. Well done F&C, top marks today.

Zero F’s Given
Went to Frankly & Co at Mount Hutton as we have had great experiences at the Green Hills store, and love their cinnamon scrolls.
Unfortunately the Mount Hutton store did not stock the cinnamon scrolls so thought we would just order a coffee, a bacon and egg toastie and a sausage roll.
What a mistake that decision was.
Ordering - coffee order was taken correctly, however although repeated back to me the food ordered apparently didn’t include the sausage roll, after the coffees were provided and we had to chase the food up 10 minutes later when we still had not received our take away order (with no other customers waiting or needing servicing).
Coffees: We ordered 2x Iced Lattes one on skim milk and one on lactose free milk. When given to us the girl could not tell me which was lactose free and which was skim. The I want to say manager, proceeded to reprimand the poor teenage waitress but stating “well your the one who filled them so you should know” then proceeded to tell her the lactose free one was on the left hand side. I said “are you absolutely sure?” (these things you do not want to get wrong) and she replied “yes that’s the one that’s lactose free.
Plot twist - It was not lactose free, fast forward half an hour and the mistakes of the manager assisted with the expulsion of the “meal” we were provided
Food - Sausage roll was heated up in the microwave a minimum of 3 times before it was served, the pastry was solid as a rock and dangerously hot in the middle. Could not be eaten. The toastie was dry and the eggs, had the texture and taste of powdered eggs. Again inedible.
Now I get it times are tougher than normal, stock supplies are hard to get along with staff. That’s not the issue, if they cared about what they were doing and stuffed up that would be fine. But there was a sense of absolutely zero F’s given from the owner/manager. The young waitresses were put in every position to apologise to customers, and take all the responsibility for any lack in service or quality of food. No ownership was taken by management in the situation. When I returned the inedible food I explained that I was returning the food as it was disgusting and could not be eaten. No offer for remediation was provided just an apology from one of the waitresses.
Summary - stick to the cold stuff (except maybe iced coffees), anything that doesn’t require any effort to prepare is probably your safest bet.
A complete and disgraceful comparison to the Frankly and Co Green Hills store.
