I have never liked any of the cakes I tried at this place but was pleasantly surprised when someone at work bought the chocolate mud cake. We decided to order one for a birthday celebration and paid for it 5 days in advance. On the day of pickup, we were told that head quarters had not made any mud cakes and that they had lost our docket with our phone number on it so they hadn’t called us. It was too late to order a cake elsewhere and we were only given the option of picking an alternative cake, none of which we liked. The staff member said that the replacement cake we ended up choosing cost more than the mud cake and that they wouldn’t charge us any extra. This was not true when I looked up their website. So not only did we end up with a cake that not one person enjoyed, we also paid more for it than we should have. Would never order anything from there again.

We ordered a M&M Surprise Cake From the Maroubra branch. I was so impressed with the quality of the cake. It was delicious. Will definitely be ordering from them in the future.

I've walked past this Cafe many times but I normally go to another local place out of loyalty. I decided to give it a try. The girl behind the counter was sweet and helpful. But I took a few seconds to decide whether to use ice cream or just ice in my iced coffee. When I finally said I wanted ice cream and almond milk.. The man.. Barista.. thought I wouldn't notice maybe.. but he mumbled a critical comment to the girl as he purposefully walked behind her to say it! I've owned several businesses and I have an eye for detail. So I saw exactly what he was doing! No matter how difficult a customer you have.. Customer service is top priority in any business!! This guy has a lot to learn! The girl was great. She tried hard to keep a straight face! But he's bad for business! Then to top it off.. He delivered my iced coffee to the table.. and sarcastically asked if it was almond milk I had asked for.. with a smirk on his face!! Wow.. Definitely not wasting my money here again! My other Cafe is 20 metres away! As for the coffee he made, it didn't have enough coffee taste in it so it's a thumbs down for taste as well.

The cakes are a bit inconsistent with some slices moist and some dry in the same box. The carrot cake was probably my favourite of the ones we tried.

The you lady at the counter isn't welcoming and provides no customer service personality. Bailey is wonderful and I travel to have a coffee with my friend. I come back because he has the right customer approach.

I had coffee in this cafe several times, it was delicious coffee. Today after lunch there, I didn't find a trash bin to throw away the lunch box and left it on the table, just because I didn't find a trash bin. A few minutes after I left the cafe, the owner of the cafe, as she introduced herself, caught up with me and forced me to come back to clean the trash. I support the idea that everyone cleans up their belongings, trash and so on, but not in this way. Ummm… forced… It was rude and humiliating to say in my face “my shop, my rules”. This is the first time I've experienced this type of customer service.

I stopped by this cafe today to grab a coffee and a quick bite. The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious. I’ll be definitely coming back!
