Great British pub. Good for a bite to eat and a drink.

We had a traditional pork pie today, and these guys are the best we've found in Australia so far that make their pork pies accurately.

The pastry always good, the aspek was good and the pork was good, if a little too finely ground.

We paired it with a cider on tap and the Ale of the Month on tap. Very good.

Great spot for lunch. The staff were able
To fit us in even though we didn’t have a booking. All the bar staff were great. Food was very good. Only down side was the chicken entree was fairly small for $19, which was a shame cause it was delicious. Kids fish and chips were very fresh and the beef and Guinness pie was the best ever! 5 stars easily on the food, I just didn’t love the atmosphere, super dark inside and the English beers are average. Service excellent, food unreal, will be back and definitely recommend a visit!

Outstanding service given by Angel. She welcomed and greeted us with enthusiasm. Angel answered all my questions about the different beers and was informative about the different events that happened at the premises. She went over and beyond what was expected of service. We will come back thanks to the friendly and outstanding service by Angel.

I really enjoyed my visit to Fox & Hounds Country Inn. We had a group of 8 of us and our table was in the Tudor Rose room. I love the feel of this place and all the kitschy things in it. You could spend ages looking at everything. We received our meals pretty quickly. I had the roast lunch with 2 meats (beef and pork) and it tasted fantastic. I followed that with the Raspberry Eton mess. Oh my it's good. So big, creamy and delish. This was my third time here and I'll definitely come back again and again.

We went there for dinner on a Saturday night. The staff were very attentive even though it was quite busy. We both had the fish (cod) and chips. Very large meal and cooked to perfection. Absolute value for money and as a local will definitely be back.

More than a pub, this is a little piece
of history. Make sure you walk around and explore the decor. Amazing food! Traditional British pub food with quality, class and old English style! Staff provide great service and are very knowledgeable about the pub’s history. Guinness Pie highly recommended

Attended the Fox and Hounds Hotel for a wedding last Thursday afternoon, and it was my first visit. The place is beautifully decorated with a charming English theme that creates a unique and inviting atmosphere. The grass courtyard was a lovely setting, and the highlight for me was definitely the Guinness on tap—perfectly poured and refreshing.

For the meal, I had the lamb shanks, which were delicious and well-cooked. However, the chicken schnitzel was just okay—served with only six chips, which was a bit disappointing. I’ve had much better schnitzels elsewhere.

That said, the overall experience was enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back one day to relax with a beer in the cozy surroundings.

Went there for morning tea/lunch. We arrived at 11 when it opened and enjoyed an hour or so there. The pub is crammed full of English trinkets and is built along the lines of an old English pub. On a cold, bleak day with the fire roaring it would be very good.
My party sat at a table by a window and enjoyed the light coming in and ate sausages and mash, a toad in the hole, and scones with tea.
The food was good, especially the sausages as they had good flavour. I don't believe the mash potato was not fresh and had a bit of a taste that is usually the case with mass production. But the scones were a good size and light and tasty.
All in all I would recommend it. You could probably have a good party there.
