Had takeaway coffees with B&E roll and pancakes. Great service and they went to a lot of effort to put together takeaway food. Very generous sized meals as well. Thank you.

Waited 5 mins to get served no apology then watched as they made terrible coffee. Didn't clean the portafilter after it been sitting in the coffee machine for how long should have at least been wiped out and then frothed milk from a container sitting on the bench. Of course coffee tasted terrible.

Me and my friend came here 2 hours before close to have an afternoon coffee. We specifically asked to have there, like in mugs etc (not a big deal but it still feels nice to have it in something that's not plastic). The guy who served us was very nice. We sat down and was waiting for our coffee/food and he came over with take away containers and cups. I know it was two hours till close time but being a previous waitress in a cafe, it literally takes 5 mins to wash cups and stuff. I was a little confused and the guy must've noticed my slight frustration and he whispered to me "I'm sorry, she won't wash the dishes", then he ended his shift after serving us and it was the girl left. His service was great, but pretty pathetic in the girls behalf if that's her attitude towards customer service. I'm all for customer service and making sure the customers are welcomed and if having only take away containers was the case, it would've been nice to let us know first so we wouldn't have had our hopes high.

They forgot my coffee order, after 25 minutes they made it, couldn’t even bring it to my table. Made me get up and go to the counter unlike the other customers.

I am afraid I have to leave this low rating for non-existent service on my last visit there ( today Monday 18Dec23 ). It's simply not up to a customer to attract the attention of 2 employees busy sweeping a floor. I was directly in their line of sight for over 1 minute. It wouldn't have hurt either of them to glance up periodically. I left without purchasing because I was not prepared to shout. I know they were only 4-5 metres from me but that made their inattention even worse. You may think I am a whinger but as a customer I felt I deserved more attention than floor sweepings. I am sure you would feel the same way.
Sad in a way because I missed out on one of their great pies but I just wasn't THAT hungry.
Hope they begin paying more attention to see if customers are waiting at their counter.
***UPDATE***
Rather than leave another review I must complain about the receipts this mob give you. I balance my bank account regularly and discovered a slimey aspect of the receipts handed out. The receipt shows the amount paid but your bank account shows the 'extra' which is the merchant fee. Piddling amount for sure but a time waster. Just check your receipt and ask if the stated amount on the paper docket includes the merchant fee.
I am hoping this aspect of their receipt system will be remedied soon.

Great customer service!. Nobody does my dirty chai's like fortune cafe made to perfection and great food options too.
Highlight of my day is when i can relax with my Dirty chai and the friendly staff always have a friendly greeting and chat. Definitely worth a visit to fill your belly and satisfy your coffee cravings.

Had fish and chips ..fish was i&j frozen from Coles the chips were ok the kids had chicken nuggets and the lady had to run into Coles to buy them to cook ..when we got hom my wife and I had bad gut crams and Diarrhoea .so I recommend staying clear of their food .
