There is a good Bowling Green, a nice neat bar with a good range of beverages this includes an excellent cappuccino and then there’s the Chinese restaurant which has marvellous food. They also offer some Australian style meals very well done. By the way all the staff here are super friendly and helpful.

What a gem of a find while travelling through. Beautiful area for parties with undercovered deck over looking the river.

Chinese was scrummy and served by a family owned restaurant with all communicating and shared recommendations that I asked for.

This has some serious potential to be the best club in the district. It appears to be run by warm welcoming and most importantly competent staff. Especially a blonde lady who didn't stop. If not serving she was cleaning or organising next events. 2 other ladies on Saturday night were on the ball. Confident and friendly.

There appeared to be a pool competition going on and seemed friendly yet serious competitors.

As a single travelling 50 yr old it was a great find. Definitely recommend ?

We found this lovely little club by accident as there is a sneaky little pathway (approx 50m) from the Town and Country motel where we were staying straight into the club. Too easy. Small, fully equipped club, very friendly with really, really great bistro food.

We park across the bridge at Forbes in free camping spot for vans and always go to Forbes bowling club for a beautiful Chinese meal the best we’ve tasted we can never eat it all( and finish up with Chinese for our next day in van )they have Australian food too open 11.30-3 and 5-9 tonight Thursday not sure if weekends same times the girls are lovely and chefs amazing we suggested they place their board that’s inside out on steps outside so all us caravaners and locals see that they are there please go and enjoy their great food we paid $14.50 each item and that would have fed two people it was absolutely delicious well done Forbes (I think the bar staff there tonight was a not very welcoming though ?just saying)?
