I can thoroughly recommend Dr Kristian Sorensen and his excellent team. I am 84 years old and in 2022 I was diagnosed with SCC neck cancer. I was operated on in Brisbane by a specialist ENT surgeon. The operation was totally successful but it was necessary to cut my right facial nerve, meaning that I effectively had Bell's palsy which causes drooping of the right eye and mouth among other problems. I had some plastic surgery in Brisbane but last year it was obvious that it needed to be reviewed. I asked my GP for a referral to a Brisbane surgeon but luckily he immediately recommended Dr.Sorensen in Cairns. I have had three facial operations by Dr.Sorensen and the last one included the removal of another SCC cancer from my head and ear which required a skin graft. All the operations were excellent, as was the follow up treatment both by Dr.Sorensen and Clare the practice nurse. I had virtually no pain after any of these procedures and all healed well.

FNQ Plastic Surgery are amazing. The team are efficient, reliable and make you feel supported and communicated too every step of the way. I had my breast implants removed after 14 years and Dr. Sorensen made me feel comfortable and confident explaining everything to me, step by step, up until surgery day. It was an extensive explant surgery after having them for such a long time, things had shifted inside of my body. It has been a huge life change for me physically, mentally and emotionally to now have no breasts, however 2 weeks out from surgery, I can tell that Dr. Sorensen made magic out of nothing. In the future if I do decide to go down the route of having implants again I have a great foundation to go off because of Dr. Sorensen's work.

I am a patient of Dr Sorensen , I went to see him for a breast reduction. I found Dr Sorensen to be thorough, he made me feel comfortable at all times , he came across professional and his attention to details is remarkable.

After my surgery I was relieved to see that I was able to contact during the weekend the nurse on call and Dr Sorensen regarding any questions or concerns I had after the surgery .

I definitely have to compliment the nurses and staff at FNQ Plastic Surgery for looking after me during my recovery, I was definitely well cared for and each visit Dr Sorensen always check over the healing process .
