I was very disappointed with this property. The room had a strong, unpleasant odor, and the lack of air conditioning in every room was unacceptable, especially in the Australian heat. Additionally, the property showed clear signs of poor maintenance—such as a towel rack that had fallen off the wall.

For the price paid, I expected much better quality and comfort. In hindsight, I could have stayed at The Star Casino for a similar rate and received a far superior experience. I also spoke with other guests who shared the same concerns, reinforcing my dissatisfaction.

Given the condition of the accommodation, I do not believe it was worth the cost

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! This hotel KNOWINGLY put me in a room full of MOULD and GERMAN COCKROACHES. They tried to cover it up with a rug not thinking I’d 1. Smell it and 2. Step on the rug to feel half the ground missing.
I ended up sleeping in my car!!
They refuse to give me a full refund only offering 50%. This is because they need to keep commission. I’ve given them 2 weeks to rectify this and they can say is ā€˜oh we had a leak from the rain’
Fans were full of dust, shower was disgusting, aircons filled with mould.
They don’t even care that I’ve gone to the ombudsman. That clearly shows they’re lack of empathy

The worst stay we have ever had in Brisbane. We paid $800 for a two bedroom apartment, for 2 nights. We could access our room till, 3pm, at which time we had to call, as there was still no key, it is not the easier eat street to park on whilst waiting for a key, to appear in a lock box.
When the cleaner, turned up with the key, she said she had had, 8 rooms to do, in 4hrs 😳, you can only imagine the cleanliness🫣
Bedding seemed clean, but had seen better days, old marks. The floor was like a swimming pool and you wouldn’t walk round with no shoes on, walls filthy, no fridge handle. Could go on and on.
Second room was an almost a cupboard, no window or aircon, was for 4 people, but only had a 2seater couch, 2 glasses. No coffee of tea facilities, and the soap was a refilled old Palmolive bottle. Our view was, a gray concrete wall, about, 1 metre away. The lifts were, filthy, I don’t think the carpet, had ever been cleaned. Disgusting place.
Avoid this place !!!

I enjoyed my stay here. There were some dirt areas on the carpet, but the bed was comfortable. The shower is not water tight and there was a mini flood šŸ˜…. The spa was out of order which was disappointing. Couch cushions have seen better days. View from roof top was very nice.

If budget is your top priority, this accommodation may be worth considering, but it didn’t make for a comfortable stay. We booked a three-bedroom apartment for six adults, and while there was plenty of space, it felt poorly equipped. There was only one three-seater couch and five chairs at the dining table—not quite enough for everyone.

The air conditioning was also a disappointment; while advertised, only the main area and main bedroom was air-conditioned. The two remaining bedrooms had fans only, and with the heat, this made sleeping quite uncomfortable.

The overall cleanliness and upkeep were lacking. The apartment needed a thorough cleaning—dust and dirt covered the walls, floors, doors, and cupboards, showing a clear lack of maintenance. The bedding was unfortunately not in great condition either.

If you’re looking for a basic, budget option and don’t mind the above issues, this might work. But for a comfortable and clean stay, I’d recommend exploring other options.

This place host is scamming people. They took 200$ deposit when we reached there and at the end they didn't return it. They charge 120$ for chairs which was already broken and we left a rubbish bag so, they charge 80$ for cleaning which is an unnecessary charge. It is like we have to clean their property. And this is not only for us they have doing the same scam to others peoples as well as I can see same review in google.
This totally unacceptable so, AIRBN have to do something for this.

I booked a room for one night on Agoda when booking no where did it display about a bond deposit of $350/ $200 after receiving a message about check in I then received a text about $200 bond trying to contact them I ended up getting someone I explained I didn’t see anything about a bond when paying he explained it’s just hold which something didn’t feel right after texting and asking for a refund because there was no detail about a bond he said ā€œ the room was non refundable he can do $100 deposit ā€œ I then explained that if I knew there was a bond I would not have booked and explained with screenshots no where did it explain anything about a bond he then sent me the policy which you don’t receive till after you book. So I’m now out of pocket because I tired solving it without having to inform my bank but it looks like that is my only resort. If you require a deposit it should be displayed before your process the room payment

I had a disappointing and awful experience staying in this apartment. I found bloodstains and yellow spots on the pillows and quilt, stains on the tables, and a forgotten towel in the dryer. Despite reporting these issues to the receptionist multiple times, I was told the staff couldn’t do anything and that management was responsible for resolving complaints. It became clear they didn’t care and had no intention of addressing the problem. After I left, I discovered other reviews mentioning the same issues with cleanliness and poor communication. I do not recommend it.
