We came especially with our dog as it was advertised as dog friendly. Unfortunately for us we came on a busy day, and the dog friendly table was booked, so instead we were seated “out the back” with a limited menu of burgers for lunch. Wine tastings were also inside which we opted not to do as we were told to tie the dog up outside. The burger was nice, although slightly rare, the view was nice too, but inside looked just beautiful and would love to come back for the full experience. Leaving a review for the benefit of dog owners - if you are planning to bring your dog, definitely need to reserve the dog friendly table ahead of time!

Took some friends visiting from interstate out there today and was extremely disappointed, The four of us were forced to sit at a wine barrel for the wine tasting and cheese plate as we were told we weren’t allowed to do the tasting outside or in the restaurant area, It was hot and stuffy with no air conditioning, ceiling fan or breeze.
Being restricted to a wine barrel with four stools gave us no room to move and had to hold the menu for the duration as they were only taking requests for one sample one at a time.
The wines were subpar and descriptions were ridiculous.
The $60 cheese plate had 10 small pieces of cheese, about 2 tablespoons of each of the red and white wine jellies(which were actually really nice and the only thing we purchased even though they were $20 each), a handful of crackers and a small amount of seeded grapes.
Overall this was the most disappointing wine tasting/ vineyard we have visited and the pricing was by far the most expensive.
Definitely do not recommend.

Beautiful view, excellent service, and a unique cuisine experience (see attached photos). Definitely worth a visit. We only dined at the restaurant and did not explore the vineyard, but you can still enjoy a stunning view of it from the restaurant.

We recently celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary at Flame Hill Vineyard, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable! Arriving in style via Ghost Air Helicopter, we were immediately struck by the breathtaking views and tranquil ambiance of the estate.

The service provided by our waitress was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. As for the food, it was simply exquisite. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, elevating our special occasion to new heights.

To complement our delicious lunch, the staff recommended a delightful Merlot from their vineyard, and it was a perfect choice. Rich, smooth, and full of character, it paired wonderfully with our meal and left a lasting impression.

Overall, Flame Hill Vineyard made our anniversary truly magical. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion!

Food wasn't bad. Awesome place to eat. But it's there wines where the excel at. Not a big fan of Australian wine but their wine is superb. Wild child is absolutely delicious ?

We had the best day at Flame Hill! The charcuterie board was absolutely to die for and we loved that everything was sourced locally. The wine was also, of course, stunning and we loved our wine tasting in the Muskat Cellar. Overall, such an amazing experience and can’t thank the team who looked after us enough!!

We brought my mum to Flame Hill Vinyard for her birthday. We all enjoyed a wine tasting and shared a cheese platter outside by the vinyard. We then had a beautiful lunch inside the restaurant. The vinyard was pet friendly and treated our fur boy with care, but do call ahead of time to reserve a pet friendly space (they can get very busy) and the food was lovely. We really enjoyed the wine tasting.

Ordered the charcuterie board, it was nice but ridiculously overpriced, built up with lettuce leaves to look like it was of value. Wine tasting was $12pp, I have never had to pay more than $5. Every time I have done wine tasting I have purchased a bottle, not the case today. I ordered a glass of wine with lunch which was ok but nothing outstanding especially for the price. Service was fine, we were in and out within 30minutes but feeling not very satisfied.
Make sure you request a table with a view otherwise you’ll be very much disappointed.
We definitely wont be returning here or recommending this place.
