My husband & I stayed here for our wedding weekend with our family & friends. It was such a beautiful spot for all of us to stay & be so close together. Especially getting photos taken with the stunning backdrop of the ferns & trees!

Also the Klara studio is perfect for a couple to enjoy a couple nights away in absolute bliss. The room was cosy & relaxing in the spa with amazing views really hit the spot.

The owner was very patient with the back & forth emails to make sure each night had the correct numbers for each booking. This really helped us feel comfortable knowing how advanced we booked in it was easily sorted.

The rooms were tidy & cleaned, very homely but the only downside that the windmill & jacuzzi lodges were not stocked up with enough toilet paper for the weekend with the amount of guest that stayed plus the windmill lodge not having enough tea/coffee stocked up. Also not being able to enjoy the jacuzzi as it was very slimy & not cleaned was a shame.

The biggest key to this place is to do your research for the driveway as it is very tight & only certain cars can manage going up & down.

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely magical! The first thing that struck us was how beautifully presented the cabin is—spotless and truly deserving of its five-star cleanliness rating. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the cozy decor to the little extras like board games, which kept us entertained during quiet evenings.

The views were breathtaking, and to our delight, we had daily visits from colorful parrots, adding a touch of nature’s charm to our mornings. The cabin is also incredibly dog-friendly, with outstanding features for pet owners. The fenced area on the side of the cabin, complete with a pet door, gave our dog plenty of freedom to explore safely.

The hosts were fantastic—super easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

This was more than just a stay—it was an experience. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this cabin offers it all. We can’t wait to return! Stayed in the Brook cottage.

I recently stayed at Fern Glen Grand Lodge, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I feel deceived by the owner, who assured us that the lodge would be set up for 50 guests with plates, cutlery, and everything we needed. However, upon arrival, this was not the case.

The spa was not functional, and we were only told this at the last minute. There were no fairy lights as promised, not enough towels or tea towels, and the place was not clean. Additionally, the second single fridge was of poor quality—it took 12 hours on max settings to cool properly, which was unacceptable for hosting an event.

The owner showed up on our arrival under the guise of cleaning, then hung around for hours. To make matters worse, she returned the next morning with a man to hurriedly set up fairy lights just a few hours before our wedding ceremony, creating unnecessary stress and anxiety.

The drive to the lodge was dangerously steep, a one-car-wide bush road, with little to no mention of this in advance. Parking was extremely limited, causing chaos and additional frustration for our guests. The overall condition of the property was poor, with several broken and non-functional items.

Adding to the discomfort, there was no air conditioning in the house, only two ceiling fans for the entire space. The heat was unbearable, leaving our guests sweating and miserable throughout the event.

This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I will not be returning to Ger Glen Grand Lodge. I would not recommend this venue to anyone. Save yourself the stress and find a place that lives up to its promises!
Location with forests was great but the place itself in my experience was unprofessional and no value for money!
Almost forgot shower with open shower arrangements when used flooded the whole bathroom with 3 cm water standing and not enough towels to use. Terrible! Worst experience I have ever had!

If only the owners had warned us of how bad access to the property was, and at night in the mist, up and down narrow gullys, we would not have booked this place! Plus damage to the side of the car hitting some branches on the way to the house! The access track would be about 2m in some places.

Beautiful peaceful location set amongst tall trees and natural wildlife. Felt like we were staying in the rain forest. Unit was very clean, and had all the amenities needed for cooking. Tea and coffee pods provided too.
Only about 3 minutes drive from local shops, including IGA, Deli, great coffee, pub/restaurant, etc.
Perfect 2 night getaway!
Happily stay there again.

We stayed in the Jacuzzi Lodge over a long weekend in September.
The accommodation was beautifully presented and clean. The Jaccuzi was great and so beautiful to be in the rainforest. The whole set up was done well to enable a great stay.
The sauna was brilliant and worth booking, with an outdoor bath set amongst the rainforest.
The access to local shops is 3 minutes away and some restaurants local. Great access to other villages and walking routes.
Would definitely come back again.

The property was so beautiful, it felt like we were staying in the middle of a National Park or rainforest with huge straight trees, ferns & a stream. The Jacuzzi Cottage was huge with our own private lawn area, loved the beautiful birds visiting, open fire, dog friendly, Netflix available, forest views from every window. Thankyou so much for such a beautiful place to catch-up with our 93 year old Mum. Jacuzzi cottage all flat with no stairs & very good for elderly. We just needed a tea towel, some small plates & BBQ wasn’t very appealing to use.

We booked the whole property for our wedding weekend, staying the Friday and Saturday nights for a wedding at Poets Lane. We had a lovely stay catering for nearly 20 adults across the five different accomodations. It was such a beautiful sport and everyone have a very comfortable stay. We were visited by rosellas and cockatoos in the morning which was beautiful! It was also a great back drop for our getting ready photos attached. Would recommend a stay as a whole venue or for a weekend away in one of the cottages. A few things to note is the drive way which is a bit steep, something to be cautious about but we had mini vans, small hatch backs and utes all mange this fine. The Klara and Spa cottages are a little walk from the other three properties, this didn’t mind us but just something to be aware of if you’re using the whole venue.
