I’ve visited Federal Coffee several times and it never disappoints.

This time I had a mocha – smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness.
I visited during a special promotion so I got 50% off my drink by using the Skip app. Such a great deal!

The beautiful, classic architecture of the arcade creates such a calming and elegant atmosphere, perfect for a quiet coffee break. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.
It’s also very conveniently located near the
tram stop, which makes it easy to pop in anytime.
Next time, I’d love to try their food menu and enjoy a slow, relaxing meal.
Highly recommended if you're looking for great coffee and a peaceful place to unwind.

Federal is one of our favorite. Location is perfect so you can feel the buzz of typical Melbourne day. There are some constants that will always be good, like coffee beautifully made every single time and the rest is up to your personal taste. Breakfast & Brunch menu is quite well assembled with some classics and few specialty meals. Our favorite probably mushroom melt, chicken avocado and of course a bit French take on steak sandwich with brie and baguette. Stop buy and try for yourself You won't be disappointed

Nice location for a morning coffee.
Staff appeared friendly, they were training a new employee when we visited.
Negative was the espresso that was served cold, maybe they made it first and it sat around for a bit before being delivered to the table.

Location perfect for tourists! The chilli eggs were my favourite. I really wanted a thick shake but they were out of milk!!!! 15% surcharge for public holiday rates.
