Stopped by here before seeing Beetlejuice the musical. Staff were excellent. We ordered the Chicken schnitzel specials. Came with a free schooner of beer for $25. Schnitzel was really big and cooked well. Chips and salad was also good. Overall great value, food and drinks.

Went to Father's Office Downtown for a light dinner and a few drinks.
Location is in a popular area with a lot of foot traffic, great for people in the CBD or who have just kicked off work.
Ordered wings, nachos and a Parma as well as drinks. Chilli nachos were quite spicy 🥵 though it does warn you so that's on me! If you like spicy you will like it.
Wings were nice, we ordered regular and teriyaki flavours. Parma was standard. Chips were nice and had a nice light seasoning on it with some herbs.
Decent selection of beers and drinks, they have a happy hour too if you're there at the right time.
Father's Office has a down stairs area you can go too, with some outside areas. Atmosphere feels quite nice and you can see the kitchen line as you sit up stairs.
Napkin situation could be improved, for a whole table of majority finger food we had 2 napkins and had to go up a few times for more.
Prices are mid for portions, not too expensive like other places in the area with the sam aesthetic.

We had the $25 lunch with a free drink, so that was a steal. We ordered chicken parma and a steak, both were juicy and satisfied our hunger. For entree we ordered cheeseburger spring roll, which was interesting but yummy, and arancini balls which was yummy.
The music they were playing on a quiet, rainy lazy afternoon was an easy listening jazz, which I thought was appropriate for the atmosphere we were there.

Steak took time to come out, but it's totally worth it! And the service was really good. Although the restaurant was quite busy during my visit, the staff remained friendly and provided good service. I appreciated their effort and will definitely return again!

We had the best experience here. We had the Bees Knees lunch on Thursday 16th January 2025, arranged by our son, and from the minute we were greeted to saying goodbye, everything was amazing.

The young waiter was courteous and friendly, big smiles while showing us to our table. It was really busy but he never looked flustered. Our meal arrived in great time so didn't have to wait long at all.

The manager was amazing (so sorry we didn't get your name!), so lovely to talk to and the meal was delicious. They couldn't do enough for us. So much food, so filling and we walked away very satisfied.

Would definitely visit again. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

I d such a fun time in this lovely place over a bottomless aperitivo with good choice of cocktails which included a pretty yummy platter too and delicious sweet potato fries! The restaurant is spacious and in two levels with inner semi covered smoking area. Atmosphere is pleasant and the staff working here very nice too! Will be back!

Please avoid their steaks.
40mins wait on steaks! Later, my steak was so chewy and my friend steaks were so dry. Chips were soggy and some crispy.? Steaks need to sear properly as well. Arancini balls were like Coles, frozen, not worth 13$ at all. Toilet at the venue is dirty, hand dryer not working and some toilet got no lids. Lol, hygienic who? Don’t get me start on the service, awkward. Never check up on us. When we get up to pay she clearly see that, she then proceeded to go take order table near where we stand and told us to wait instead The hostess saw me approach , doesn’t even accommodate except gave me side eyes and to the girl, then look down to polish glass as normal? No smile no word , nothing! Like come on , you’re working in hospitality. Is this how u treated your customer? I never heard of your restaurant before, just saw randomly on steakbabes, I won’t be back. Bad , bad choice tonight! There are plenty nice steak restaurants in the city. Save yourself 25bucks!!!
