Had the Brisket Benny special for breakfast — hands down the best eggs Benny I’ve had in Brisbane. Absolutely delicious.

The café itself is lovely, with a warm and welcoming vibe. Even though seating is outdoors, the blankets and gas heaters kept us perfectly comfortable on a chilly morning.

Coffee was top notch — smooth, well made, and clearly a priority here. Staff were lovely too, though I did feel like the heavy reliance on QR code ordering takes away a bit from the human interaction side of things. I know some people love the convenience, but for me, it slightly dulls the warmth of what is otherwise a really great café experience.

Still, a fantastic spot with brilliant food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Wow wow wow. I can totally see why this gem is so popular. From the second you walk in the service was amazing and welcoming. Gas heaters were on and blankets offered 🙂 The food and the coffee absolutely sensational. Breakfast gnocchi was so flavourful and hint of chilli was perfect. The raspberry lemon meringue hot cake was the perfect sweet n sour of a super fluffy hotcake. This was the best way to start the day. 100% recommend this place

Great place. Really nice spot for lunch. Greeted at the door, shown to a table with a smile. The service was impeccable with in this day and age is a rarity.

The food was served quickly and was top quality done well. We had the potato cake with hollandaise and poached eggs, a cauliflower steak and the bruschetta. The portion sizes are huge.
Everything tasted fantastic.

Reasonably priced and washed down with a G&T.

Busy buzzy place, good vibe, good food, I must say those marinated cherry tomatoes were awesome, bit of a wait for food but it was very busy. Didn't have a booking, but they got us seated in less than 10 mins. Go, you won't regret it

The coffee was a strong start, perfect cappuccino with chocolate flakes as well!

The meals were a strong continuation. We got the Pinsa (early in the morning, they might run out later in the day) and the classic potato cake. I’m generally not a fan of potato cakes but it’s because I’ve never tried it done this well. It’s basically a perfect potato based eggs benny.

The sweetness and flavours of the pinsa were perfect but for my taste I should have asked for no potatoes.

Portion size was great, you leave full and not feeling short changed!

Farmhouse, Kedron Café – A Lovely Saturday Spot

We visited Farmhouse on a Saturday morning and stayed into the afternoon—it had such a lovely, vibrant atmosphere despite being quite busy. The menu offers plenty of choices for both breakfast and lunch, which was great.

We tried The Granded of Corned Beef Toastie and Chargrilled Cauliflower—both were absolutely delicious! The beef sandwich stood out especially; it was unique and flavourful, with Swiss cheese and Russian sauce making it something special.

For drinks, we had a hot chocolate, which was perfect—rich and comforting. The affogato was okay, not bad, just not as memorable as the other items.

Despite the crowd, the service was friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back—this place is worth revisiting!

Great cafe for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Good for solo to large groups. Busy!

Coffee was good, the food delicious and a decent size for the price. I would recommend the potato cakes hollandaise as well as the avocado on toast. They also have takeaway options.

We had a breakfast with the classic potatoe bake and the pens breakfast. The potatoe bake was lovely with crisp outside to the potatoe with lovely runny eggs spinach bacon and hollandaise atop. This was delicious. The pensa had great flavours but the pizza base was way too thick and went soggy with all the moist toppings. So if they thin the pizza base down to 5mm thick and crisp it would be better. The ambiance is great and there are toilets and good access for disabled. There is limited on-site parking but plenty in the surrounding streets.
