Faraway is so much more than just another beautiful architecturally designed house in a spectacular space. It is a home crafted with much care and attention to every little detail from the use of angles and curves to create discreet spaces to relax in either as a group or on your own, through to bifolds that open up to create amazing entertainment areas that meld the vibrancy of outside together with the serenity of inside, creating a gorgeous blend of indoor outdoor living.

Whilst there was so much to love about Faraway, my absolute favourite part was the treasure trove of surprising discoveries to be found throughout the place. The quirky bird bath, the beautiful artworks, the amazing window framed views, the stairwell garden, and the spectacular metal dome that acts a central connection within the house and has you coming back for more.

Andrew was an amazing host, his communication was excellent and he was more than happy to help out with local contacts for where to go and what to do during our stay. He welcomed us on arrival and took us through all we needed to know about Faraway. He'll ask you to let him know if there's anything missing or any suggestions you might have that would have made your stay better. Good luck with finding any gaps! I've never stayed in a place as well catered for as Faraway. Local eggs and bacon for breakfast and such a well thought out and stocked kitchen from crockery, utensils and pantry staples right down to mosquito spray and a snake bite kit!

I couldn't recommend Faraway more highly. The place has so much wow factor with spectacular island views, beautifully designed spaces that create comfort and contentment and a very hospitable host.

My wife and I stayed at Faraway in January 2024. The architect vision is impressive with every attention to detail considered. The entire home opens its windows and doors to the spectacular views, scents and sounds of the island wildlife. The courtyard with wood fired oven is perfect to cook the islands produce. A sound system is wired through the entire home and the extensive collection of CD's takes you back. The location, the home, the experience at Faraway is unmatched on the island and perfect for couples and groups of friends. I see a birthday celebration here with family in our near future.

6 of us spent 5 days over New Year in this absolutely stunning property. The attention to detail is a credit to the owner builder! Nothing is spared in the design, layout and facilities. Whether you're taking in the views, listening to music, preparing a feast, entertaining in the amazing indoor outdoor areas, or just relaxing and soaking up the ambience you are certainly doing it in style and luxury at Faraway!

Such a beautiful property! A credit to the owner who has put so much effort into constructing something so unique, and so in keeping with the local environment. It's position to take in the views is incredible. Waking up in bed and looking out over the water is an absolute treat! As is the shower with the same view! Beautifully appointed, very comfortable and just stunning.
