Great place to stop and refuel on our trip. The service was amazing- very quick and courteous. I had a works burger and can say that it is possible the best burger I have had in a very long time. Both in presentation, flavour and value for money! The ice coffee was also very nice.
The cafe is conveniently located in the main street, with easy parking, toilets and pleasant surroundings.

Great place for a morning tea/coffee stop. Nice coffee & one of the best scones I ever had - just the perfect balance of dough, jam & cream. Clean, lovely garden-style settings. Highly recommend & will be back (already miss those delicious scones)

Great spot to stop in, grab a bite to eat and a coffee. The brekky wrap was great! As was the slice of cake. Oat coffee was probably a little too hot for my liking, but hey, might be suited to somebody else’s taste. Nice gardens down the side of the verandah

Great little find, an oasis in the desert. How nice to find a place with greenery & shade & fans outdoor seating. The place looks great & the food does not disappoint. Every time I am on way to Cairns inland I make a stop here & never disappointed

We stopped in here for lunch on our way from Roma to Longreach. We enjoyed the place to the degree that we stopped in again on our way back. Sandwiches and food was tasty and fresh. Prices were quite reasonable. Pleasant atmosphere and surroundings sitting out on the verandah.

Such a pleasant surprise driving into quiet little remote Tambo to find this character-filled cafe. Fanny Mae's quirky decor is refreshing and just nice to be around. My coffee was excellent.
