We recently stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We didnt need to use it, but the fireplace is a nice touch for those chilly nights.
The shampoo/soaps provided are fantastic and smell so good!

The grounds are amazingly scenic and very well kept, its a nice area to take a stroll. We also had a cheeky cockatoo that kept visiting, which was neat as we're not used to seeing them being from NZ.

We would definitely return and recommend this place to others.

The ONLY suggestion we have would be to provide a non-slip mat for in the spa bath - it was quite slippery while using the shower.

My husband and I stayed here for a night. The location is great if you're into hiking as a few different walking tracks are on the same road. We arrived to friendly staff members and check in was a breeze. We stayed in the studio loft and the room itself was cute and we had a nice view from our balcony. However, there were some minor issues with the bed being rock hard and the room wasn't properly cleaned.. the spa head rests also weren't fitted on right as they kept coming off when we laid our head back. All in all, it's a nice place to stay a night to get away from home.

As we are an older couple travelling we found the bathroom totally unsuitable...trying to enter the shower towering over the spa bath was a mere athletic manoeuvre! What a nightmare it was. The bathrooms need to be totally revamped as they are definitely a health hazard and very dated. Other than that the other rooms were acceptable and our view spectacular but the bathroom I'm afraid gets a nil star rating.

We stayed at this lovely hotel after visiting Scenic World and were encapsulated by the cottage-type vibe the room and hotel had. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (including helping us by attending the room to turn the sound up on the television).

There was a fireplace in the room which was perfect for a windy, winter's night. The spa in the bathroom was extremely spacious which was the perfect addition.

We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

Great location walking distance to waterfall, the grounds are nice and tranquil. Two balconies with peaceful views and a spa in the bathroom which was amazing. We loved it so much we stayed twice this year ?

Well-designed villa complex, comfortable bed, and novel spa and gas fireplace.

Though not luxury (for the price)- rooms are a bit tired, and need maintenance such as replacing stained carpet and installing warmer light bulbs throughout for better ambience.

The reviews are polarising - there must either be 1 or 2 nice rooms, or they are paid reviews. The reviews about the dirtiness are not made up. The staff respond with excuses and in some cases they even blame customers for bringing in silver fish! That's new.

Maintenance is very poor, cleanliness is bad. It's not thoughtfully decorated or laid out.

Half a dozen champagne glasses and one red wine glass. Bunch of empty cupboards. Mismatched furniture, cracks in the walls, stains in the carpet. They've let this place go. What a waste.

The care factor here is very low. Bathrooms are not private, people walk past all the time. This place could be great if it was maintained. They should at the very least be realistic and lower the price, you're paying for the location, not for nice accommodation.
