Super nice and relaxing place to stay. The hosts Alex and Hugh are awesome! The cabins are comfy and done up real nice. Free WiFi and the rain water is drinkable after filtering with the water filters that come with the place.
The nature around is stunning and there is even an orchard with limes, lemons and oranges and more. Definitely recommend to stay for a getaway, yoga retreat, or to host a party/wedding.

We stayed here for three nights and it was really beautiful. Once you do a grocery shop you really don't need to leave. It's rich with wild life and the extensive grounds on the property have waterfalls and lush forrests to walk to. ||||The owner, Dr. Mary White (87 and bright as a button) is a paleo botanist and was the perfect hostess. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was great and there's a very easy to operate BBQ available too. Great value for money, really very pleased. Can highly recommend.

I'm absolutely in love with this place. It's beautifully decorated, very cosy and has everything you desire for a getaway in the woods. We spent 4 days there, went hiking everyday, swam in waterfalls and enjoyed time by the fire. Alex and Hugh are fabulous and welcoming hosts. It's the perfect place to switch off - our cabin had wifi and Netflix but the connection is sketchy from time to time which we didn't mind as we wanted to switch off.

Awesome place to get lost in the forest with those sounds truly disconnecting you from the hustle and bustle of the city's concrete jungle. Sighting of the fireflies was a great one and the trails are awesome to trek. The host Alex was very accommodating and hospitable.

A lovely place to escape the hustle of city living. Living amongst nature with the different sights, sounds and pace is refreshing. Our highlights were the walk to the waterfall and the saltwater pool. Our kids are 5 & 7 and they loved it. The beds were super comfy and accommodation clean. There were a few daddy longlegs around which frightened the kids but were expected. The downside was the abundant mosquitos!! They seemed immune to repellant and went to town on us. Hubby got 50+ bites 🙁 but the bites are smaller and not as itchy as the Sydney mosquitos.

We loved everything, the cosy retro style accommodation, with a fire pit and hammock on the back verandah, the amazing ancient rainforest with awe inspiring waterfalls and freshwater swimming holes, as well as all the fun swings and the see-saw with two leather saddles as seats. Alex and Hugh were so welcoming and the children loved their dogs. It was a great time away for all the family. We will have to make a return visit.

I stayed here in November 2012 travelling north from Sydney.||The rooms were spacious, and clean.||The big feature of this accommodation is the surrounds. It is a nature reserve of the highest quality. ||Hustle and Bustle is left behind on entering the retreat. Around the accommodation are some lovely gardens which are home to numerous wallabies.||I also walked up to "the cascades" which is one of the feature walks in the property. The cascades is a lovely collection of waterfalls culminating in a serene rock pool.||Staff were warm and friendly.||I highly rate my experience and recommend the stay.

Beautiful enchanted forest in a secluded rainforest paradise. Full of charm, retro character and history; a treat for down to earth nature lovers and people who love revisiting the past through old building quirks and charm. Not for high maintenance people, but for people looking to experience the simple life and get back to basics.
