My husband and I stayed 7 nights here.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
There were some great walking tracks nearby.
This is a great place for families with a lot of activities for kids.
Being here as a couple the place was too busy with kids.
The real only complaint was our room really needed updating.
The mattress was old, the sink in the bathroom was cracked, the shower was in the bath and the court yard outside required gardening and the gate always stuck.
There was no key to get back into our room from the courtyard. So we had to walk through the complex to get back into our room.
No car parking near our room

A great family-friendly resort. We had a great time with our 6 year old. There was so much for him to do - slides, pool, games, movies, activities... We didn't stop the whole time. the food at the cafe there was also surprisingly good! Best Caesar salad I've had in a long time! The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. They found us different pillows when we asked, served us a plate of delicious veggies when we felt like something a little healthier (even though it wasn't on the menu). I'd highly recommend this place for anyone with kids.

Love love love this resort!! Will definitely be back.

From the first step inside this hotel, it was amazing! It opens up to a beautiful view of the mountains. It's also quite close to the three sisters where we did the katoomba night walk.

Staff are really nice! The lady at the front desk was lovely and Chris who helped sort out out dinner was great! Staff were really friendly.

Facilities were great! They had a mirror maze which was fun for two 30yr olds to try!

We booked this for a celebratory event for my partner so it was a bit of a last second trip. The day we arrived weather was good during the day however started to rain during the night. Unfortunately the weather was not the best so when we come back next time, we'll Def be checking the forecast so it's not so foggy and rainy. That way we can really experience all the resort has to offer.

I had an awesome Birthday weekend break with my pups in a pet friendly room. The room and all facilities were great. The restaurants and casual dining area were great and so was the food. The visit to the spa was lovely and the walks around the resort and region were beautiful. The lovely warm spring weather enhanced the visit with all the local trees and plants sprouting early flowers. The local town centre in Leura wasn't far from the resort and had the local shops had something for everyone. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The only redeeming quality for this hotel is the view from the lobby and the peaceful sound of cicadas chirping in the mountains.

On check in, I noted that the spelling of my name on the booking was incorrect. The staff member just shrugged.

The rooms are remarkably outdated. Floors are not clean, and there is mould/mildew in the shower. The bedding is “triple sheet” style, which means your duvet is sandwiched between two flat sheets that are not sealed. So if you move even a cm in your sleep, the sheets will move and you’ll be subjected to touching an uncovered duvet that doesn’t get cleaned between bookings and has had countless other bodies touching it, sweating on it, drooling on it and worse. So unhygienic. The pillows are about 15 years old too. Charging points are on the opposite side of the room to the bed which is so very inconvenient for those early morning alarms. Walls between rooms are paper thin, I could hear my room neighbor on the toilet. Delightful.

The biggest let down here is the food which, quite frankly, is the worst slop I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating. All meals from breakfast, through to conference lunch, and even room service have been abysmal. I refuse to believe there are qualified chefs in the kitchen churning out this rubbish.

At least you won’t have to worry about gaining weight when you stay here.

It's perfect for a family holiday. Lots of activities to do for all ages. Great location!
The reception staff and concierge were lovely and welcoming although they were very busy, as it was school holidays.
The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable.
If you are looking for a modern and quiet getaway, this is not for you. This is more family oriented and you should expect some noise, crowded pool/playgrounds at certain times of the day.
In saying that, we went during school holidays, and we were still able to enjoy all the available acitivities.

A Stunning Resort Nestled in Nature – Can't Wait to Return!

While exploring the Blue Mountains on our hiking journey, we passed by Fairmont Resort in Leura and were instantly captivated by its beauty and impressive facilities. The resort is set against the stunning backdrop of the Blue Mountains, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings.

Even though we didn’t stay this time, the elegance of the resort and the range of amenities we saw made us eager to come back. It was clear why the place was buzzing with activity – it’s an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure, offering everything from luxurious comfort to outdoor experiences.

Fairmont Resort is definitely on our list for a future visit, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in the heart of the Blue Mountains!

It was my first time staying at the Fairmont, my husband and I usually stay at other hotels in the blue mountains. We’ve recently had a baby and decided to try a more family friendly hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Great amount of activities available for children. The staff at check in were very nice.

Only feed back would be that when we checked in at 5:30pm there were no towels in the room and only half a toilet roll so by the end of the 2 days we were out of toilet paper. We did ask staff but was never provided.

The towels were provided in the afternoon the next day after two follow ups.
