We recently celebrated our wedding at Beta Events, and it was an absolutely magical experience!

The venue itself is stunning and the decor is unlike anything else you will find within the Sydney CBD. We are still in awe of how everything looked and came together on the day.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly on the day, coordinating everything seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our day without any stress. Alissa from the events team was a delight to work with in the lead-up to the big day and was there to answer any questions/offer advice.

The food was top-notch as well, with a delicious greek menu that had all our guests raving. We received countless compliments on both the food and the overall ambiance of the venue.

Beta Events made our wedding day unforgettable, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. If you're looking for a venue that combines elegance, excellent service, and a genuine commitment to making your event perfect, then look no further. Highly recommended!

As a Sydney wedding photographer, it's always a pleasure working at Beta Events. The venue is quite spectacular with it's grand spaces, high ceilings and exposed brickwork. To top it off, both the food and team here are equally as exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to any of our couples, so check it out if you are looking for something special!

If I could give a 0 I would. Highly disappointed with Beta Events.
Make sure you read all the goggle reviews before booking this venue! I missed some really important ones!!!

My thoughts are that Beta Events gets away with this as most clients are 1 time for weddings and special big events.

I would NOT recommend Beta Events to ANYONE I know.
And I feel obliged to leave a google review – to make sure other young couples don’t experience what we did.

Anaphylactic guest was served meringue on dessert. I clearly stated she was allergic to egg multiple times throughout the planning process. Extremely reckless of Beta.

The drinks on consumption bill did not make any sense when we calculated this multiple times. We believe we were WAY over charged. The bar tender barely recorded anything down. There is no way it was accurate.

We paid for an extra bar tender that was not there?

All the fish main meals served were raw, quite a few of my guests we feeling sick the days after my wedding. Some other people on the night noticed and did not eat their dinner (How embarrassing!)

Staff were rude, and had attitude at every request.

Based on what was going on they never read the run sheet. In fact you could tell they didn't care less about anything we had planned with the venue. E.g no food served during speeches - this happened!

Nothing was set up at 4 and the wedding started at 5.

Bathrooms have no hand dryer, no paper towels and when we requested something to dry our hands with we copped attitude from your staff. To the point that we requested a napkin at the very least. We were given 1.

Lights were never dimmed. Lights fully on the whole night, even during the first dance.

The 3 teenagers we invited were not marked with wrist bands to ensure they were not served alcohol.

The list goes on. Don't have your wedding here or any other event

We have always been more than delighted to capture weddings at Beta Events, would definitely recommend this breathtaking space to our newlyweds if they are looking for something different for their wedding venue. Beta blends the classical elegance from Victoria era with modern and chic decors, the perfect balance has made the venue timelessly beautiful. The contrast between their signature exposed brickwork and their attentively outstanding service is definitely the finishing touch of this venue. From their venue itself to their service and menu, they are simply in a class by themselves.

Amazing venue, beautiful food alongside attentive and hands on staff. My husband and I had our wedding in the Gallery room and it was simply breath taking! A perfect space for a small intimate wedding. We would like to emphasize our gratitude to Johanna who was a complete gem during the whole wedding process, we couldn’t have done it without her. Highly recommend! 10/10

We recently got married at Beta and loved this venue, such a hidden gem in the CBD!!

Venue space was amazing and all the food and staff were great.

Alissa was amazing to work with in the lead up to and planning our wedding! Alissa liaised with all our suppliers and took a lot of the stress from us in the lead up to the day. A huge thank you to Alissa for working so closely with us to pull together our dream day ♥ the venue was perfect and you knocked everything out of the park!

We got married in The Gallery (on level 1) which was moody and dramatic for our ceremony. There was plenty of room for seating all of our guests and we barely had to do anything to dress the room up as it's stunning in its own right. Staff were great to deal with on the day, helped direct and seat our guests on time and opened the doors at the rear of the room for a dramatic bridal entrance. Our ceremony could not have gone smoother and our photos have turned out unreal.

We held cocktail hour directly after the ceremony in the same space while we stepped out to take our photos. We had a Greek grazing table which all of our guests raved about! They couldn’t get enough of the food, drink & espresso martinis on arrival. We walked around the corner to Hyde Park for photos which is a stunning setting and we were also really happy with our photos directly out the front of the venue on Castlereagh St.

Following this, our guests went directly up to The Grand space on level 2 where we joined them for our reception. The venue is stunning with high ceilings, exposed brickwork and concrete - we felt like we were in Athens!

The room was set up perfectly, every request we made right up until the day was no issue for the team at Beta and they did a great job pulling this together. We had 180 guests on four long tables and still had plenty of room for our guests to move around and dance, with an abundant supply of food & drink. A big thank you to Manos and his team on the day who were unreal, kept our drinks topped up, no request too big or small and we thank you for making it such an unforgettable night.

We can't wait to celebrate our anniversary at Alpha and this venue will hold a very special place with us for years to come.

Reviewing this venue as a vendor .
Unloading can be tricky in the city but this venue provides a helping hand has much as they can and alot of guidance when it comes to parking .
The staff are all so friendly and willing to go out of their way to answer any questions and make setting up as stress free as possible .
Great communication.
My favourite city venue made better by the staff that work there .
