Give all 5 stars for all categories; food was really good; quality and taste wise. Big breakfast set is well worth it. Scones awesome. Love that the cream is not too sweet. Scones texture is bit different than what I have in the US, lighter, but that does not take any point away from my overall experience. Very nice atmosphere to sit and chillax. Another spot recommended when visiting Darwin.

Laid back atmosphere and excellent food: a mix of cafeteria breakfast options, plus delicious brunch-style items. Make sure to check the print menu. Definitely recommend the fruit toast!

Staying in Darwin for a week, and we just found this gem today ( due to fly back to Brisbane on Saturday )
We wish to find it earlier and its a walking distance from our accommodation! Ordered the Laksa Egg Benedict with salmon ( it was scrumptious!! ), it sounded interesting on the menu, it looked good when it was presented and tasted delicious!! I would have it everyday for my breakfast!! Hubby had chocolate thick shake, and it was the real thick shake on the stainless steel cup ( which it should be ) unlike others they go on the glass! Hubby loved it!! It was thick, real milk and tasted so nice he said.
The staff was lovely ( the lady with a blonde hair ). She was quick, friendly and welcoming! Plenty of tables at the front and at the back as well under the trees. The place was really nice inside the botanical garden itself. We could just sit there for the whole day enjoying their food and drinks. Plenty of parkings and dog friendly too. Also its disabled access too. We definitely will come again next time when we visit Darwin again! 👍☺

This café is in a great location, right at the entrance of the botanical garden, making it perfect for a weekend brunch before taking a stroll in the garden. The building is an old, small chapel with plenty of tables and chairs both indoors and outdoors. The food and drinks are delicious, and the staff is very friendly.

We used to love going to Eva's Cafe when we were living in Darwin. We've come back to visit for the dry and was really looking forward to going back to Eva's. I think there must have been a change in management. I suppose the clue should have been how quiet the cafe was. Certainly didn't have the same buzz it used to have. The staff were friendly enough, I guess. The menu is significant less appealing than I remember, and the cost significantly more. Inflation? Maybe, 🤔 but when we received our coffee and meals, that's what sealed the deal. We used to refer everyone to Eva's, but I can't say I'll be making any recommendations again any time soon. Very disappointing.

$10.35c for 2 cans of soft drinks. Is this the normal price in this cafe? Just asking. If it is then it's overpriced.

I used cash to pay not card. Just in case.

We ordered a slice of carrot cake and a ham-and cheese sandwich.

We waited for 20 minutes. Upon questioning, they mentioned that they sold last piece of carrot cane and forgot to roast the sandwich.

This is not ok.

Two gross negligence with high suspicion of discrimination against visible minorities and LGBT2+ community since we were there as a couple when we ordered the food and drink.

I hope they give 0 star for this rating when I would give them big ole ZERO!

Service at the counter when ordering was fine, very personable staff member.
Food was tasty and well presented however our sparkling water did not come until after we had finished our meal. We had asked. No apology.
The whole experience was diminished by poor service within the area. We were surrounded by used tables where no attempt had been made to clear and prepare. Birds were eating from plates.
We witnessed several groups walk in, couldn’t find a clean table and left.
Staff shortages? We ate at about 12.15.
