I almost don't want to review this place for fear it will become so popular it will book out before we can next visit.
The location is perfect, tucked in privately behind the IGA and Bottle shop, cafe and pharmacy. Across from the beach , with the beach front restaurants and boutique shops. Everything so convenient. The apartment we rented was the two bedroom and was really well appointed , tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and new . Parking in the underground car park was secure and convenient and included in the cost of the apartment. You can order from the cafe to be delivered to your room . There are two lovely swimming pools on site and a gym. Children were welcome and were all well behaved and the overall ambience was relaxed and chill . We had a really lovely time despite the heavy rain for the first day , and managed to enjoy the beach on the last day of the weekend. The restaurants across from the hotel were also really high quality and varied. We need to come back for longer next time !

One of the most relaxing hotels we have stayed in southeast Queensland. Everything in the rooms and the common areas are well thought. The pool bar is a nice touch and while the pool is small is the perfect size for the amount of rooms in the hotel.

lovely hotel with friendly staff.
drinks are reasonably priced at the bar, and we had a corner room overlooking noosa national park which was gorgeous. we extended our stay by 1 night, and as a result were required to move to a different room. the view was fine, and although it overlooked a car park, we were impressed with how they managed to still show foliage and make the balcony feel secluded

I hate leaving negative reviews but we had to change our plans due to Cyclone Alfred hitting the sunshine coast when we were supposed to visit. The hotel made no effort to refund our booking, despite this being a rare cyclone for the area. I never cancel trips so I typically pay in advance, however the hotel should have made an exception. Now I have to hassle through my travel insurance because they couldn't be bothered to refund a 2 night stay. Even flights were offering free ticket changes! Won't recommend this hotel to anyone. **Edit: I'd like to mention that we are traveling from the States so changing to alternative dates is not an option as we had our whole trip pre planned.

The hotel has beautiful rooms, make sure to book one with a view. Relax in one of the two mineral infused pools next to nature or wander up to the beach. The area has a few cute shops, cafes and restaurants. Perfect for a relaxing holiday to recharge the batteries. |Extensive mini bar offering plus Nespresso machine and kettle for tea. They could add herbal tea options to make the experience even better! |Their natural shampoo, conditioner and soap were amazing, signature essence fragrance adds a level of elegance without being too overpowering. |The team was super helpful and overall the vibe was welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this place!!

Beautiful room and the bar pool was lovely although kids shouting and jumping made it less relaxing. Would be good if families stuck to the family pool. Rooms aren't completely sound proof as could hear people laughing from their room. Also soap and shampoo dispensers were topped up with water each day instead of being refilled properly. Too expensive of a stay to be doing this.

Wonderful stay at Essence. We had the sunset biosphere view suite and it was definitely worth it - peacefully, great view and lots of bird life.
So close to all the amenities you need, great food and shopping precinct (although the boutiques are very expensive, but there were some great quirky little shops - head to Wolf and Second Star for some beautiful literary homewares!)
Service at Essence was exceptional, and the cocktails by the pool delicious. The pools are definitely not large, but we didn't experience any over crowding if you go before 2pm.
The entire complex was clean, felt safe, and well maintained.
Will be back with the family for a holiday in one of the homes!!

We were booked in for a three night stay through Luxury escapes, a week before our arrival date 4/3/25we contacted both Luxury escapes and Essence and were told no change of dates could be done even with the possibility of a cyclone coming, We reluctantly decided to go, however on Tuesday morning at 8am we again contacted luxury escapes and through them Essence, the cyclone was going to make landfall by the end of the week and you still wouldn't change our dates, we are pensioners and couldn't afford to lose our money so we came up but only stayed one night as i realized I was putting my safety at risk and needed to get home to prepare our house. If we had stayed we would have been coming home right in the middle of the cyclone on Friday morning. Nobody i have told this to can believe you couldn't offer a change of dates, it was heartless and showed a complete lack of empathy. We are yet to recover from the cyclone as itwent right through our area and we are still without power. This was NOT a normal situation and all we wanted was a change of dates to anything convenient to essence, as we are retired. Looking forward to your response. Thomas and Denise.
